“Great place to stop by after the zoo to grab a quick bite. The bagel sandwiches are around $6 and baked goods are around $4 each. Overall a decent place with vegan and gluten-free options. Nut-free and kosher if that’s also a concern for you. They had cute zoo-themed cake pops here and if you want a cute panda pop then this is the place for you. I tried their southwestern sandwich on an everything bagel and it was tasty and big enough that you’re full but not overly stuffed. I also tried their cookie bar and it was okay, though I wish I would’ve gone with their raspberry bar instead (maybe next time).”

“This is my favorite go-to place (DC, Georgia Ave) when I want to have brunch and extend breakfast to lunch. The restaurant opens at 10:30AM so I order then and this meal can last into dinner because of the portion size. Although in this pic there are only 4 potatoes and a few pieces of meat, typically they include more meat and potatoes. Nevertheless, this "dinner" usually comes with curry chicken, cabbage and rice but the rice is too crunchy so I choose to double the rice. The food is delicious 😋.”

“I've been coming here consistently over the past 3 years and have always been impressed with the staff. Always very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that it can sometimes be hard to catch their attention to give me my online order pickup, since they store orders behind the counter. Otherwise, I've had nothing but good service here.”

“Went to Cafe U at about 8am on a weekday. Fantastic service and great food. I got the lox with an everything bagel and it was fantastic. At $8 it is such a steal. The drip coffee was great as well. Good flavor and not burned. It's the neighborhood breakfast spot now. I'll be coming back often.”

“It’s been over a year since I spent the summer living near this amazing establishment. My girlfriend and i still talk about and crave this cake all the time. The chocolate cake is to die for. It is moist and delicious. I tried a bunch of flavors and all of them were amazing. I can’t wait for the next time I can get there and I love that you can order by the slice.
