“We are staying in Sea Colony, as we do every year, and I noticed the new restaurant Fins, across the street. We were Jonesing for some fresh seafood, but were a little hesitant about going to Fins because it’s right across the street (too close ????) and in a strip mall. I looked at the reviews and the pictures and decided to give it a try because I liked their menu choices for seafood. We ended up sitting at the bar and had a really enjoyable experience. The bar is substantial, probably at least 15 seats. They have some nice touches like reclaimed doors for half walls under the bar. They use paper straws, which impressed me for the environmental effect. Most importantly, the food was really really good. We started with steamed shrimp and they have a happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, so the shrimp was only eight dollars for half a pound, very good. We also had fish tacos, which were also on the happy hour menu, and they were excellent, the fish was perfectly cooked and the sauce was good. Then we had a tuna bowl with nachos, and that was outstanding. Draft beer is also on sale during the happy hour, and they had around eight selections on draft. Apparently they also own Big Oyster brewing, so they had an IPA with Big oyster that was good, a little hoppy though. Peter the bartender was excellent, very calm, knowledgeable and attentive, without being bothersome. We decided to make this our new annual date night during the week at Bethany every year. It’s really outstanding.”

“I just moved to Lewes DE from Falls Church, VA. This was my first timed eating at The Cottage Cafe with my friends. I had the crab cake and I have to tell you that it was simply superb--all crab meat with little or no filler. I have never tasted anything so good! I also had a side salad which as very fresh and very tasty! In Virginia I found that when I ordered crab cakes, there was a lot of "filler" and little crab meat. My friends also enjoyed their lunch. One has the BLT which was excellent and my other friend had the shrimp plate and it was outstanding. Our Server Dean was excellent and very attentive. I highly recommend "The Cottage Cate!" I count them among the "Best of the Best" places to eat!!!”

“As always , we had a great meal! This time I actually had a cheese burger. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Only con is the type of lettuce they use, but really not a problem. “New Years Day had three great specials of the day - it was hard to select one We selected the warm cheese herb Oysters Rockefeller to start. Salmon was perfectly cooked with grilled Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes augratine. The porterhouse steak was large trimmed and perfect medium rare as requested. I asked for a custom cinnamon ice cream with caramel topping to keep it a simple finish. The house champagne was very reasonable and fine. Service friendly fast with lots of follow up on taste and our needs. Note. This is my go to lunchtime place when in town. This dinner was a nice pick at 7.15pm on a holiday. Chef was been awarded several times by locals. Food is locally sourced. Local beers. Winter specials are worth the trip.”

“This Wawa does not have a gas station but it does have great coffee and sandwiches. They also have Siptopia going on and you can get a 16 or 24 oz smoothie, w/wo yogurt, or a frozen coffee beverage. The mixed berry w yogurt is my favorite, the blueberry pomegranate is a little sweet. Their Italian subs are better than most you get at a pizza shop and they don't nickel and dime you to death for your add-ons. Their hot coffee is reasonably priced and they offer several flavors of creamer as well as several flavors of coffee. Their pastries are fresh and delightful.”
