“We had my daughter’s first birthday party on the four-season heated deck in December 2022 and it was absolutely perfect. We worked with Thalia who was so professional and organized leading up to the day. We were able to customize the buffet menu to our needs and the room set up was exactly how we discussed. On the day of the event, everything went off without a hitch. I was able to arrive early to put up a few decorations. The service was incredible. All of the guests as they arrived were attended to proactively with their drink orders. And the food was phenomenal. It really gave me and my husband peace of mind so we could enjoy the time with our guests celebrating our daughter. Bonus - towards the end of the afternoon, Thalia and team proactively wrapped and packaged all of the surplus food for me and a few guests to take home — so so considerate. Huge thanks to Thalia and the awesome staff. I highly recommend hosting a family friendly, enjoyable event at the Stillery!”

My daughter loved the food so much she skipped her favorite in mystic and begged to come here NYE on the way home. I am a customer service snob… Francisco was FANTASTIC! The food. Freaking amazing…. Like 5 stars all the way. The fried mozzarella was unlike anything we have ever had before. The pizza delicious. The wings were a hit with my son. The penne vodka was delicate and addictive. “We had a fantastic dinner at Ole Mole! If I lived in Stamford, I could totally see this being one of my go-to spots for Mexican. It’s no-frills, good food, and pretty small inside. We went during peak dinner time on Thursday and were lucky we were able to snag a table! Everything was delicious! Some items that really stood out were the tostones and the mole sauce, which we figured would be amazing seeing that it’s their namesake! Our food arrived very quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive.”

The staff were very nice the view is actually quite the surprise from the inside. “There is a little parking lot but only couple spots and they’re usually taken. But found a spot outside fairly quickly. There are no reservations. So we came as a party of 3 and inside wait time was 2 hours. To sit outside was 1 hour but there are a ton of mosquitoes outside. Was a nice day so we sat outside. The service was amazing the server had knowledge about the menu and was very personable. She gave really good recommendations and the portions were a good amount. I loved the mussels they had so much flavor. Pasta and sauce was very flavorful. This place was highly recommended and I can see why. I would definitely be back”

“Hong Kong is probably your best option for basic Chinese takeout. I stick to certain staples, like Singapore Mei fun, fried chicken wings, crab rangoon‘s, chicken fried rice, ribs, chicken noodle soup and am never disappointed. One time when I ordered Singapore Mei fun, they ended up delivering the wrong mei fun. Upon calling, they immediately came with the right order. People make mistakes, it’s not a big deal. It’s how they correct it that matters.”

“We were traveling and spent the night in Stamford. We ventured out from the hotel and found Zody’s. Pulling into the parking lot a gentleman at the front door pointed us to an empty parking spot and greeted us at the door. He showed us to a table took the time to ask how are days was going and where we were from The waitress was very friendly and helpful, not hovering but was there when we needed something. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the menu had a wide variety of offerings. Pizza was one of the best we ever had. I wish we had a spot like this near home. Thank You Zody’s”

(Smashed avocado with cinnamon, slices pears, blue cheese and walnuts - incredible). My husband ordered the grape leaves (dolmas) and hummus, also very good. However the black and white cookie was the best I ever had. Don’t know why they only have 3.7 stars, maybe cost? It was a bit expensive, but considering the area 🤷🏻♀️.”

“This doesn't stand out. It doesn't look special. But the food is **amazing**. Like, "can't go wrong, no matter what" food. The breakfast sandwiches, which is how I discovered them, are perfect. When you order online, the substitution options are plentiful and easy to use - and they always get it right. You just go and pick up your order and enjoy. If you go in person, the service is friendly, everyone is nice, it is super-clean, but it does take some time if you go during busy hours (basically - busy breakfast hours and busy lunch hours -- better to order in advance and pick up.) Probably the best kept secret in Stamford -- and they have **vegan** options, which is awesome.”
