“Super cute and nice location just outside of downtown. Cabin number five with the high windows is especially nice and looks to be the only one with windows like that. There is some road noise, but it did not bother us but if you’re sensitive to that you may want to bring earplugs. Your parking area is five cabins down. Nice that it was set up for a bonfire but after the rain we weren’t able to have one as it was too wet. Hair dryer not provided. Clean and comfy!”

“This is the original store! A very homey type place that makes you want to stop by and have a seat in one of the red chairs outside to watch the traffic go by while sipping a cool drink ???? The variety of products for sale means there's something for everyone. Be sure to sample the various cherry ciders. The cherry butter is yummy. The cherries are grown in Western Colorado. I had the individual cherry pie and it was delicious. Shout out to the woman who waited on me. She is a retired teacher and was very helpful and courteous. I'm sorry I didn't get your name ????”

“This hotel is a gem. The view is beautiful, the location is basically perfect, the staff is great and helpful, and the room was exactly what we needed. Robin got us checked in at midnight and was an excellent host. We plan on coming back regularly... I personally can't remember a more pleasant experience with a hotel like this, out in nature and intended as a getaway. I wrote this immediately after checking out. Stay at this place, you won't be disappointed.”

“My husband, my two children, and myself have been staying here and we absolutely love it. It’s a very clean place and the area is beautiful. The campground owners, Jeff and Lori are wonderful. This campground is their home and they make sure their campers feel at home here too. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests, as they work hard to make sure the place is well kept, everyone has what they need, and that people feel safe. Our time at Drake as been very enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place for family camping trips. It’s beautiful and it’s just minutes away from Estes Park, Loveland, and the best cinnamon rolls in the world in Glen Haven.”

“Definitely NOT any stars here. Cabins are very old and outdated. Nasty carpet. They also have septic issues so they DO NOT allow visitors. Ridiculous. The ladies that handled our group were VERY rude and could have handled our situation better as we would have been willing to pay more to accommodate our hopes for a quiet family dinner. The cabins also smell old. Will never recommend to any of my family or friends. They seriously need to work on being more respectful to their customers.”

“Had an amazing time! This cabin was perfect for two couples. We were able to cook our own meals to save money and enjoy relaxation in the hot tub after our daily adventures around the area. Extremely close to town, nicely equipped, and beautiful stream passes through the back - you could fish off the deck. My only complaint was our car bottomed out severely at the exit (probably not the fault of the cabin owners), we just left through the entrance to avoid this, not a big deal.”
