“Looking for some chicken that was close and quick this came up in a search. Not the usual spot you would look for some excellent chicken but OMG out of this world slap your momma for seconds chicken it was. Perfect breading, perfect cook, moist, fresh and fantastic. Walked in with a large order not knowing we could order ahead and they made it happen in a finger snaps time. We will definitely be back and share with everyone we know this hidden gem. “People come from all over to this local favorite to enjoy their lovely dining experience. I'd recommend calling to get a reservation at least a day in advance if you want to enjoy High Tea. We were just there today to celebrate my sister's birthday and the owner and chef, Christine, exceeded our expectations. We were seated in our own little tea room, at a lavish tablecloth setting, served our own pot of tea, and started out with a beautiful salad. Then Christine brought out scones with lemon curd, Irish cream and jelly; chicken salad sandwiches, a delicious ham-turkey-and-cheese french toast sandwich, quiche, gourmet cheese filled mushroom bites, and chocolate chip cookies! She was warm and welcoming, checked on us and refilled our tea pots at the perfect times. She also provided to-go boxes for the food we couldn't manage to eat.”

Highly recommend. I'm not sure when some of the other reviews were given, but perhaps it's when Bernie's was a bit newer and they were still working out the links. Haven't had any issues with poor service. Update January 4, 2019. Just had their new menu items... Brisket and pulled pork. Both delicious. Better yet, short wait time. They got rid of items that don't sell well and hold up the preparation time. Come see for yourself.”

I'll know next time to have them have them do a light portion of cheese. Please note that some dishes they charge extra for the cheese. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area.”

“My family and I went in today after having a bad experience over a year ago. Today was great! The guys had burgers that they really liked and I had a "not really a philly". We also had their fried pickles. Yum! We will be back a lot sooner next time.”
