“Pure deliciousness. These folks really have crab everything figured out. Unfortunately, you cannot get crab cakes during the week, they only offer it in weekends after 1pm. Will have to make it a point on the next trip to grab those crab cakes. Had their crab sandwich and New England clam chowder and as you'll see by the picture they did not disappoint at all. The 4.7 star review is there for a reason. I think they make their own fresh bread as well, just pure bliss.”

“Nice view and the atmosphere is fun on a nice day but food was just alright. French fries were good but the fish and chips were definitely lacking any kind of flavor punch. There are a number of tables with umbrellas but you may have to wait for an open table on busy days. Parking is easier if approaching from South.”

“First off I want to say how welcoming the staff is. Great environment. Totally welcoming to our family of 5. My husband and I both had fish and chips. It was the best fish in chips. Lots of food and very responsible price. 2 of our kids shared a hamburger and the other had a hotdog. We will be making a special trip to come back here!!!”

“Good spot to visit if you’re visiting the Sonoma coast and bodega bay. I got the shrimp burrito. It was tasty and there are plenty of options in the menu. Also great that they serve free chips and salsa. I live in SF so the quality standards are fairly different but hey it’s a good food and the staff is friendly.”

“This restaurant was a fabulous experience all throughout. As you walk in, it may not greatly stand out as a fancy place, but every aspect of dining here was phenomenal. Starting off with the appetizers, my family got the fresh oysters, the yellowtail, and a couple of salads for the table. Each dish provided a huge variety of flavor and was absolutely delicious. However, the winner of the appetizers would have to be the fresh oysters. Then for the entree, I got the duck breast. The duck was cooked perfectly; very tender and succulent. Can confidently say one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. One thing that also impressed me was the presentation of each plate; each one came out as if it was prepared to be presented in front of a judge on a cooking show. Service was also moderately fast and very friendly. Overall an outstanding experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a dining option in the Bodega Bay Area.”

“Totally decent. Not a fancy place but a nice place to stop. I had the chowder in a bread bowl. The bread is fantastic but gets soggy quickly. The steak fries were surprisingly good. The deep fried shrimp looked a little overdone but I didn't try them and my friend didn't seem to mind. Our server was very friendly and we were helped by at least 3 other guys delivering bread, refilling water, bussing plates, and just being very attentive. The desserts looked amazing. I definitely wish we had saved room. The warm bread and butter with dinner was fantastic, don't change that. So delicious. Good view and parking is easy”

“This is not the first time here. It won't be my last. Always a pleasing experience to the senses. Staff treats us like they want our return business. I had the 2 piece fish-n-chips; pleasingly filling. Great variety of beverage choices. I've had the 3 piece fish-n-chips, brought the third piece home to finish later. Inside dinning has limited seating. Outdoor seating is available. Best seating is found before noon. The above mentioned why Fishetarian Fish Market is so busy during lunchtime.”

“Not sure if this is a five star restaurant overall but was exactly what we needed. Food was great. My wife and daughter were happy :) after checking in our hotel 15 miles inland and having zero food options nearby and it wasn’t even 7 pm, so we had to drive back into Bodega for dinner after a long drive along PCH Hwy 1. All I wanted was clam chowder and it was yummy. We needed yummy food and got it. Like everything in CA, it was overpriced but we didn’t care to have to spend over $120 for a simple dinner with 1 glass of wine, for 2 adults and 1 12-year-old girl ;)”
