“Really big portions and flavorful food. Staff is friendly and kitchen works fast but I’d like to have more of mid eastern ambience in this place. My husband was happy with the falafel wrap and I would give my kebab combo plate 4 stars because beef kebab was not chewable at all. At the same time chicken and lamb parts of the combo were pretty good.”

“I stayed in the Monet room at Harper House for 3 months over the summer while carrying out a research stay at UCSF. It was the perfect base for me, I enjoyed the proximity to the Golden Gate park, shops on Haight street, the bike path "the wiggle", UCSF shuttle buses from Parnassus, and the N-line going into the city centre. The room is very quiet, facing an interior yard, and the bed is super comfy. I had everything I needed with the kitchenette and my own bathroom. I also really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and in the yard. The owners, Ted and Leah, made me feel at home right from the beginning, were really accomodating, and gave me so many great recommendations for exploring the city. Highly recommend!”

“This place is extremely memorable. The bartender working on Saturday, August 20, 2022 was excellent. Evidently a true craftsman and very friendly. He made my first Old Fashioned ever before my eyes, and it was pretty artisanal stuff. The Old Fashioned is now my favourite cocktail, but I doubt I'll have one as good as the one (well, two) I had here anywhere else. My friends and I stared at the mural for quite some time.”

“I came in today and Kay helped me out, I’ve been coming in for about 2 months and they are my new favorite spot. They’re the best dispensary in Whittier. It’s conveniently located near the fwy and bank so super convenient. I come at least once a week and I love their daily deals and patient appreciation days. “Excellent service, first of all. I took my 15 year old son to get his real ID, and the process was very fast. We arrived at around 7 AM and we left at around 8 AM. First, you arrive and check in with the DMV Employee, and have paperwork ready. Then, they send you a electronic ticket that tells you where you are in the line. Then, you wait for your turn. That simple. Some advice for parents taking their children for the first time: MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL THE REQUIRED PAPERWORK. Make sure that they have a document that has their name and address. And same thing applies for parents. You can use bills, rent paperwork, etc.”
