“John Chon and crew did a full roof repair, gutter replacement and roof deck salvage. Truly heroic work, done in a timely fashion and at a fair price. What I like about John is that he willing to consider your concerns and opinions carefully to come up with a mutually agreeable plan. Francisco, his foreman, is a wonder with roofing materials and they both are honest and forthright. I will use John again on my house in Marin. (If I can get him to come all that way.) Ace gets a 5 in my book.”

“Absolutely 5 star experience. Not only did Yefim and his crew do an extraordinary job, their bid came in well below the competition. We have a 9 unit condo building and Classic Shades has done work here twice. Once four years ago (it still looks like it was painted yesterday) and then this year they painted the exterior. They handled every detail from scaffolding, paint procurement, clean up and a port-o-potty. Can't rave enough about their service!”

“My 5 year old and I were visiting the city for a day, and we happened upon this tour getting ready to leave. The tour was booked full, but there was room for us on the ext tour only 2 hours later. The price for the tour ($50 adult and $30 child) was a little steep, but probably within the notmal range for a "tourist trap" sort of activity. In the end, though, it seemed a pretty good deal considering the uniqueness of the experience. We saw plenty of tour buses and double-deckers, but we were in the only open-cab fire engine on the road! The tour was pretty standard, taking a well-traveled route across the Golden Gate Bridge and back, but all the major sights in that end of town were included. The sing-along tunes with the tour guide were a little corny, but it got my son involved and smiling, so no complaints from me! The only minor complaints I have are that given the nature of the vehicle, I thought a little more fire-centric tour would have been nice (like just driving a slightly different route to pass by some more historic fire stations and/or including more historical facts about the SFFD). Also, souvenir goodies were very limited (of about a dozen options for souvenirs, they only had adult XL shirts and one kid's shirt in stock).”

“Sure, it’s another fancy coffee shop in SF BUT I like their people, their coffee, pastries, and the concept of marrying design and coffee culture. While Valencia location is fancy and a bit too snobby for me. I enjoy this location in Bay View with low key surroundings, nice seating inside and outside, and the same quality. I treat myself here once in a while. Go for their drip coffee at $3 to hang out and get some stuff done on a phone or just hang back and enjoy C&W’s nice vibes.”

“I went on the one day tour to Yosemite NP with Denise. She’s awesome! Was a long day but her enthusiasm never falters and she’s so helpful taking photos for us and giving as lots of info about each area we drove through. She made the trip ten times better than it would have been otherwise. She also made sure we had enough time at each stop and even added in a few extra stops as the park was quiet as it was a Monday. Bus is nice and the park is obviously stunning. Would for sure recommend to anyone staying in San Fransisco that has a day they can get out of the city.”
