“I recently called the Apple Valley PD, non emergency for some suspicious activity near my home around midnight. The person on the phone was polite and asked clear questions. Within 10 minutes of my call an officer showed up and was investigating. I went outside to speak with him and he was very polite. He made sure the vacant home was secure and everything looked safe. He asked me if there was anyone in the backyard because he couldn't access it. I had looked and thank goodness no one was there. I thanked him for coming so quickly and for checking. The officer stayed parked in the driveway just to make sure no one came back. He left about 20 minutes later. I am so thankful for the assistance from the Apple Valley Police Department. What a relief to be able to count on these people when I needed them. ”
