“My son has attended CCAA since Kindergarten. He is about to start his Jr year. You won't find more dedicated and passionate teachers, counselors and support staff. He likes the smaller school. He is excelling in his classes even with the distance learning and taking concurrent college courses at ARC. During middle school he took advantage of the East Coast Trip to Washington DC & New York City. The consistency of having the same 2 teachers for 7th & same 2 teachers for 8th made the transition from elementary to HS smooth. Great principal & VP that are very involved. UPDATE: My son has almost finished his junior year and is taking both AP Biology and AP Language along with concurrent enrollment at ARC. The counselor has been instrumental in helping him take college courses since 9th grade. He is also on the tennis team for the 2nd year and the PE instructor has done an amazing job bringing more sports opportunities to our students due to a great working relationship with Highlands HS. He is also enrolled in Career Technology Education (CTE) with 2 year commitment to Digital Media. Not only is he learning Photoshop and Adobe but he is also learning how to be a reporter for CCAA News and film news broadcasts and podcasts. He is also taking beginning piano and is looking forward to Jazz Band next year. This is an amazing school with dedicated teachers and staff. Despite parent involvement requirements, it seems like only a handful of involved parents actually are involved and help out. 15 hours of community service is required annually for all students, which I think is awesome and there are lots of opportunities to do so.”

“A Wonderful Experience! My daughter attended this preschool for about 2.5 years, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff is truly exceptional—caring, dedicated, and always attentive to the needs of the children. The learning environment is warm and welcoming, fostering both creativity and growth. The teachers go above and beyond to ensure each child feels included and valued, helping them develop not just academically but also socially and emotionally. My daughter thrived in this nurturing atmosphere, and we saw so much progress in her confidence, social skills, and love for learning. The curriculum is well-rounded, offering a great mix of educational activities, playtime, and creative expression. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful preschool where our daughter felt safe, happy, and excited to go to every day. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a place that genuinely cares about the development and well-being of their child!”

“Joe has been essential component and ally in my tennis adventure over the past 7 months. As a coach, his knowledge and fundamentals are top notch. He challenges me physically and mentally to ensure that I am choosing the correct hit selection and working on the execution. I come away from every lesson feeling that I've learned something and have pushed my limits further than before. Most importantly, I enjoy every moment of my lessons and interactions with Joe. Joe's influence and actions don't just start and stop with the lesson. The attention that he gives truly illustrates his passion for coaching and giving back to his students. From finding hitting partners or developing practice plans (homework), Joe strives to give his students the tools necessary to be successful in all avenues of their tennis game.”

“I’ve toured almost every daycare center and in home center in orangevale and citrus heights. There was a reason I chose Playtime Academy and every day they lived up to that reason. Myself and my children will greatly miss this school and it was tough having to move on. All of the teachers are so engaged, conscientious, and compassionate. I was always well informed of each days activities, developmental growth, and concerns. The teachers went above and beyond to identify concerns in development, create growth goals and plans, and follow through with each possible solution. I loved the inclusivity of their events and the overall familial environment of the school. Their quality of care is exceptional and one that any parent should want for their children.”

George Washington Carver - A Public Waldorf High School

Address: 10101 Systems Pkwy, Sacramento, CA 95827, USA

School

“I am a junior (2018) and I absolutely love it here. This is the place that I would recommend you got to if you stand out from the crowd, because that is pretty much everybody here at carver. We are all the people that everybody thinks differently about. If you dress in a suit and tie, a panda costume, jeans and a t-shirt, your pajamas, or whatever (as long as it is "non revealing") nobody bats an eye. if want to ride a unicycle around campus that is totally fine too! The school is pretty small (around 300 students usually) so the teachers can really interact with the students individually. though it is called a school of arts and science it is more art focused than science focused. The teachers grade your art against your own standard so if you aren't the best artist its ok, they grade it based off of your previous work. I Really enjoy going to carver!”
