“I've enjoyed my stay here for the past three years. I met people from all over the world from Germany, France, and China, who are still in contact with me today. I still check up with them on wechat, and they often wish me a happy new years. Being exposed to different cultures was fascinating and made my experience at UCR very memorable. It was probably the closest thing I got to traveling abroad. The staff were friendly and I'm very grateful for all their help. I liked the place because it was not too close to campus, so it was nice to really 'get away from school.' And in addition, the walk to school is really not that bad, it's about 25 minutes walk, but by bike it takes like 5-9 minutes. I recommend using two U bike locks. I lost a bikes, but after getting two U locks, nobody dared to steal it. I also brought in the seat just to make sure. I think the reason I liked my experience here is because I kept an open mind and always tried to ask for help or advice from the staff if something was bothering me.”

“Shout out to the "Metro Crew." The Metro Crew a part of the Jason Ortiz tree service(sub of Cal Trans) did a super job today. They made quick work of some pine trees on highway 74 in Hemet that were hanging dangerously over our homes. We are greatfull & in awe of their expert capabilities & professionalism.
