“I'm leaving a five-star review because the service is always excellent, but the steak was less than. Steak appeared to be cooked perfectly, between rare and medium rare, it just wasn't chewable throughout. I love this place because it has the absolute best chicken fried steak, possibly I've ever had. So I'll definitely be back for more of that I also love the portions, definitely made for hungry diners. The chicken fried steak combined with the awesome gravy will leave you wanting more, biscuits are perfect and the gravy absolutely amazing, the flavor is unmatched, and it's thick enough to stand a spoon up in. The sweet potato fries as my potato substitute, we're perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This is one of my absolute favorite places of all time for breakfast and lunch, because of the excellent service and always excellent food... It's just not a steak place for me, keep in mind I was raised vegetarian so I've always had a love-hate relationship with steak, because I didn't grow up chewing on it.”

“BBQ Pit Beef, man. This place is the poster child for “don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” The place itself looks very unassuming, but by God can they make solid bbq. If you’re not sure what to get, their pit beef sandwich is what dreams are made of. Sidebar, I didn’t know beef came in a pit?? But honestly I couldn’t care less how it’s made if it tastes this good.”

The pot roast was pretty amazing this last round, full of flavor, great tender pieces and complimented by the mashed rose potato pile covered in gravy. The pies are generally really great across the board, they just range in price quite a bit. Seasonal specials like the Strawberry lemonade are wonderful to have but they'll run a bit more than the average there. During holiday periods plan ahead and get a reservation in early, parking goes quick even with ample spacing.”

“We stopped in to try the new Beyond Burger (plant based proteins), the burger was actually pretty good. Excellent texture, great taste. The cooks were still trying to figure out how to cook it properly. Mine was perfect, but my wife's was undercooked. The manager saw us poking around the sandwich and came over to see how we were doing with it. She saw the problem, took the sandwich and brought us a perfectly cooked replacement. Thank you Maria!”
