(February 22, 2022, 10:34 am)Drive up to the trail head was treacherous. We had a cheap rental and was a difficult drive up. We only had about 40 minutes to hike and down but it was a very nice hike with some great views. 4x4s or jeeps are recommee.

(December 26, 2019, 10:21 pm)I came here to do some geocaching and give the dog some exercise on Christmas Eve. We had the trail all to ourselves. Trail is fairly easy. About 1200 ft elevation gain in 3 miles. Great views of the valley until weather blew in. Cell phone coverage is decent on this trail which is amazing when I can’t get service in San Diego at times!
