“Ok generally I love Panera.... this is the first time I've had an issue. We rarely eat here because it's fairly pricey, but delish for sure. Today: Delicious as always but for the $15 a plate I expected more than 3 peices of chicken. Sad. The kids loved their pick two, and filled up and then had delicious deserts. Yum Here's where it gets interesting..... On the other hand.... this car pictured is an employees car. After having a smoke break with us on the patio, he walked to his car parked in the front first parking spot, and went to put on deodorant in front of all of us eating. Pulled up his shirt after smoking a cigarette on the patio with us, rubbed some deodorant on and decided to move his car over a few inches to the west, i guess it was too close to curbside? While it was loud and obnoxiously all weird I can't get over the fact how rude he was. I could go a lifetime without seeing his awesome deodorant experience, or ever hearing his compensation car turn on again. The whole experience of food and a show was taken to new levels. Thanks panera, i can not say today was a pleasure. The food was tasty whole small though. I guess the car can compensate for that also. 5 stars only because this is the first time it's been all that and generally the food is good.”

“Ventured out to Balboa for a quick honeymoon. This was the first breakfast/bakery place we happened upon and thank goodness for that! The cheddar, chive, and bacon scone with an egg on top was delicious! Highly recommend! And their cinnamon rolls are perfect for a shared sweet treat! The only sad part was that everything was so good, no photo evidence could be obtained in time to share. 😁 Maybe next time!”

“In my 20 years of living this is the BEST ice cream I’ve ever had. You need to come here! I purchased the mint and coffee ice cream. The mint was so fresh and pure and you could tell it was made with real mint, not artificial. The coffee was the perfect mixture of sweet and rich. I also tried the caramel which was incredible. My husband tried the chocolate hazelnut and said it was to die for. The owner is so wonderful and loves interacting with customers. This stop made my day!”

I couldn't pick just one thing so I got a bunch of donut holes, an old fashioned, blueberry cake donuts and all of it less then $5! Patient and helpful staff and great donuts!
