“After consuming reformed resources over many years from theologians like Luther, Calvin, Owen, Machen, Sproul, Fesko, Godfrey, etc, I was thrilled to finally discover a wonderful, Biblically solid, confessional, reformation church here in Santa Clarita! This friendly and warm congregation is committed to sound theology and caring for each person that walks through the door. The minister, a brilliant and approachable graduate of Westminster Seminary (not to mention an expert in Greek and Biblical Theology), faithfully preaches from the Bible, proclaims the Gospel in every service, cares for each person in church, and can answer in an understandable way the most difficult challenges/questions. There’s a large group of children ranging from infant to teenagers that are also extremely welcoming and kind - one of the coolest things was seeing teenagers and older kids being so kind to my young daughter. There’s also regular men’s and women’s Bible studies, frequent gatherings, and LOTS of excellent food. I love bringing my family to hear the truth, be ministered to by the Word and sacraments, and enjoy the fellowship. More importantly, in an era of great compromise, error, and novel doctrine, I trust SCURC to be steadfast to their Biblical, confessionally reformed, historical, orthodox, sound convictions. “It's interesting to me some of these reviews are so negative, I haven't been going to this church for very long. However, I have been on and off for many years with my grandmother for holidays, but recently decided to make this my primary church. I used to go to the real life church on and off but never really felt great about that church, it's not a bad church..Just not somewhere I feel a hundred percent comfortable (although I will say there music is fantastic, it's the only reason I really went there to begin with). Anyways I switched to here about a month ago now and I love it. People are kind, welcoming, and friendly. It's a mix of different types of people and all of them seem to have big hearts and care about their community as a whole. Especially the pastor and his wife. I love that this church is small, it makes it that much more personable to me, people actually take the time to learn your name and to try to get to know you. This church seems like it works hard to contribute and give back to the community and I think that is fabulous. This church also has a way of making you feel at home, and moved by the sermons that are given. Although it may not have a giant nice building and be held out of an elementary school, it has a lot to offer. I highly recommend trying it out.”

No refills on drinks offered and only one piece of bread offered per person. They were out of chicken pot out which my son ordered, and it took 20 minutes to find that out after initially ordering. The Buffalo chicken with Mac n cheese, well they forgot the Buffalo completely.”

“My spiritual walk with the Lord has grown here more than anywhere else I’ve been. It’s a great, welcoming community with passionate leaders. Our Pastor Freddy, along with the lead pastors for the youth ministry (Josh and Nathalie) are incredible examples of leaders who reflect Matthew 18:12 which states, "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?“ It was this mentality of the leadership at the church.. having leaders who cared for me when I was slipping or inconsistent with my walk or attendance. And of course, always there when I needed them. It was this love and passion from my leaders that inspired me to get involved in leadership with the youth/young adult ministry here! General services meet on Sundays at 11AM, and the youth/young adult ministry alternates between service and small group meet-ups every Wednesday night at 7PM.
