We did not expect anyone but ourselves to be engaged in setting up tables/chairs, putting out food, doing the dishes after, etc., etc. The fine volunteers of your parish blew my family away with your help, your reaching out, your sharing, your participation in every way you could to make our luncheon lovely. “I'm a member at Good Shepherd, and I travel a little farther to attend because I think it's worth it. The pastor preaches Law and Gospel, and the message is consistently based on scripture (not politics or agenda). It's a small church, which means the pastor knows almost everyone and can make time for people -- even driving some distance for my convenience. The music is strongly traditional church music, which I like. Hymns and liturgy performed on either piano or organ. I became a member here because: • I think this church has good priorities and realistic expectations. • The pastor and members felt like family, but also from all walks of life. • This church tries its hardest to preach and follow the Truth of God's Word.”

Very welcoming to all genders, my parents have gone for years before they moved up state. It's not your grandparents church, yet has a great message every week.
