The food was good and plentiful, the service was on the slower side, but adequate with the amount of customers. The atmosphere was enjoyable as well. The coffee was good, but I always add way to much creamer and sugar. My son loved the Mickey pancakes as well.”

“One of my Sun Lakes clubs has lunch once a month at the Sunset Grill. The lunch (in my case a late breakfast brunch) was fine. Tasty fresh and best of all very reasonable in price. Service was fast and refills on drinks free. You can not beat a $5.00 meal plus drink (about $2 for a soda). The dinning room is clean and brightly lite. Occasionally the grill is slammed and if your group is large 6+ you might have to wait. Much of the year you can eat outside Now it is too hot! 110... The living room or waiting area is nicely appointed and the bathrooms are clean and equipped for wheelchair accessibility.”

“I really like it here and I highly recommend going when they have prime rib night with the buffet. The free popcorn is a nice touch and it has a very fun atmosphere. Karaoke night is a good time too. Sometimes service is a little slow when they're busy but the waitstaff is always friendly.”

“A pretty solid, non-buffet breakfast here, in the shoulder season. A little understaffed for our visit. Most entrees are in the $15-19 range. Nice kids menu, at $6. My wife’s $17 egg/sausage/potato meal was the same size as the kids version, but the kids included a drink. I had the chicken and waffles at $19. I had to steal butter from my kids plate for the waffles. Good chicken, ok waffles. Nice that they bring you a carafe of water for the table. Hilton gold and diamond members get a daily $15 each credit, up to 2 per room. Service was competent. Inside or outside seating. Quite a few birds outside scooping up food on the table. Not sure of the variety, but they looked like small crows.”

Their AM Drive-Thru is probably one of the best I've seen at a McDonald's; they've got a very good team quickly and accurately completing orders (they've read the order back on every single visit). “We are out of towners, wandering around looking for some good food. Stopped here and it was a wonderful break from the standard American blah fast food fare. Hunters stew was delicious, the homemade coleslaw even better, and the staff was super friendly and proud of their food. Good prices and satisfying portions. Want to come back and try their cabbage rolls!”
