“While the area has a serious homeless/addict population, that's to no fault of the hotel or it's staff. My fiance and I have been here for a year and a half and the staff are amazing, caring and helpful. Contrary to a what we expected to see based on reviews we read before renting here, we have not had a problem with bugs. They do bbl# monthly pest control, and as long we reasonably clean up after ourselves we don't see more than maybe 1-2 roaches a month MAX (which given that it's a monthly hotel in a rough are of Phoenix, you're bound to see one now and then). Full-sized fridge/freezer, microwave, comfy chair, desk and snacks at the front desk. This place has come to feel like home, and the monthly/weekly prices are great compared to the rest of the hotels in the area, especially considering the amenities included. Best place we've stayed! “Definitely was a last minute decision to move here but it is very convenient they only do background checks so no rental history included at all. The ladies in the front are nice. They have courtesy security walking around all the time. I never had any problems with the other neighbors, everyone pretty much stays to their self. The area has a lot of places nearby in walking distance. The apartment isn’t to bad either, you pay for what you get basically. I did see like 2 roaches, called maintenance they came next day to spray down the area I seen them in and I haven’t seen them since. They do have maintenance walking around all day keeping the complex clean as well. I would recommend to others looking for a place that’s doesn’t worry about rental history.”

“Nicely updated old 6. Friendly and attentive staff. Rooms nicely redone. Especially appreciated replacement of carpet with vinyl plank flooring. Much more sanitary. Seems to be successfully fighting the trend of old motels to become a flop house for the addicted. Ice machine access was inconvenient, and the bathtub lacked a drain plug. Parking is well lit at night - they do leave the light on for you. Price was reasonable, and I would return here.”

“Through the combination of a miscommunication with a medical provider and my change of address to another state, a very small medical bill was turned over to DFS for collection and resulted in my credit score dropping significantly. After a few quick conversations and emails with DFS and actions on both our parts the issue was taken care of, and my score returned to where it was. Both Martin and Sam were professional, listened to my perspective, and together the issue was quickly resolved. Most everything you hear about collection agencies is negative and my experience with these guys was the complete opposite. They want to resolve the debt as much as you do and if you treat them with respect, they will do the same. The people at DFS have a tough job. Thank you for a great experience.”

“The room was nice. The staff has made the stay a great experience all around though. Everyone at the front desk is helpful, polite, friendly and never make you feel as if you’re bothering them. Blanca and Mikey might be my favorite people there though. Mikey serves up the breakfasts and does an amazing job keeping the food coming and keeping the kitchen and dining area clean. He’s a hard worker, friendly and I’ve never heard him complain about a thing. Even when a swarm of teenage boys made a mess of his kitchen one Saturday morning, he didn’t skip a beat. He just cleaned up the mess and kept it moving. Blanca handles the ‘social hour’ mostly, but helps out with breakfast sometimes as well. She too does a phenomenal job of keeping the food and drinks going and maintaining a clean dining area, but she is also a very kind soul. Blanca is genuinely very caring and shows it with every interaction we’ve had with her. She even brought our kids a couple of birthday goodies after we had mentioned it was a birthday week for the two of them. We have been here about a month due to a house flood, but have not been suffering from much home sickness because people like Blanca, Mikey and the entire front desk staff have made us feel very much at home. Thank you Homewood Suites :)”

“This is a nice hotel with very friendly staff. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is due to the breakfast selection. That doesn't mean it's not a nice option but as a breakfast it's certainly not deluxe (I realize this is the standard breakfast for this hotel chain). Overall I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again.”

“Hands down. Absolute Health is the best Dr. in north Phoenix. She takes pride in her work and delivers!! I have been seeing DR.Sara for over two years. This last visit she “made me” see her chiropractor for a manual adjustment. Hands down he is the fantastic!! He took the time to evaluate my overall body and listened to my issues. His chiropractic style was terrific!!! My back feels much better and is moving more freely. I can’t say enough! Thank you again!”

“Its a decent mobile home park with great management. The Manager is a good guy, he's responsible and quick to respond to any issues tenants might have. Yes, it looks like the stereotypical "trailer park," but the residents are much more classy and clean. I know from family members who reside there that they have very low to no crime. When I visit, I never see any trashy druggies or other low-lifes I'd expect to see and have seen at other nicer/higher-end mobile home parks in Phoenix, Glendale and Peoria.”

“It's a 2 star hotel...so don't go there looking for resort-style accommodation. They do offer a bagged breakfast, good customer service, and a location that's close to convenience and liquor stores, casinos, and a family friendly Mexican restaurant. The WiFi is free, fast and reliable. My room also came with a TV with many channels and an air conditioner that ran just fine all night. For the price, I have no complaints.”
