“Plenty of street parking available, takes cash and card and serves food during the day and Tea till close. There are some cool seats in the windows sills, but otherwise a few two-tops line the walls with some comfy chairs to complement them. The music is chill and the ambience is great! And what a unique place...where else will give you free tea for simply picking up some trash from Grand Ave? It's this kind of stuff that's lacking in this world! Plus, the tea is DELICIOUS and thoughtfully steeped/brewed. There is a great selection available on the boards, but they also have a "build your own tea" area with lots of cool options to choose from. Not a tea expert? Totally fine, just ask all the questions you want, as the staff is friendly and ready to help. Plus, they're open late on weekends! Really dig this cool and unique space both for their tea and food offerings as well as the creativity and love for the community. Please swing by when you're in the area--definitely recommended! Just wanted to come back here and add that today I had the frittata with arugula salad and "seedy toast" and it was delicious!”

The food was delicious with a mix of Mexican and Spanish cuisine. We had the paella and mole chicken wings, both very good. “My Best Friend owns a cute little Ice cream shop there called "Iced Up". You can get different flavors of homemade hand packed ice cream. Also, Italian Ice,with all the good toppings. “Our mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and within 6 hours we had to find a home to place her and choose a hospice care company. We were blessed to find Quality Hospice to come in and help care for mom while she was in the assisted living facility. Everyone we came in contact with from this hospice company was beyond kind and compassionate. These people really cared about our family and what we were going through. Linda Miller was our assigned nurse and we could not have found anyone better. She was always there when we needed her or needed supplies. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is because Mom died on Monday morning and it is now Thursday evening and the hospice doctor still has not signed the death certificate so that her body can be shipped back for burial. Our family is traveling from all over the US for the funeral which we haven't scheduled yet because there is no death certificate. This has been very frustrating! Everyday they have promised it would be signed and faxed by the end of the day but so far nothing.”

“A surprisingly good vegan sandwich is available at Panera Bread, a kiosk, in Terminal C at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The bread is fresh and crusty and the sandwich is stuffed with equally fresh vegetables. The sandwich is served with potato chips or a fruit cup. The line is long to the order-taker. You may also ordered using computer tablets located in front of the counter. There are no tables or chairs. The meal is delivered in an airplane friendly shopping bag. The counter staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Wheelchair accessable.”

Somehow, they find a way to connect authentically to every customer and make sure they leave happy and more positive than they arrived. This may sound simple but it’s so uncommon today. “This is a rare review for airport food. In fact, it was “good.” Nothing wrong, but it’s rather hard to mess up bacon and eggs. This review, instead, is about friendly service received from “Mark” at the counter. It’s 6am. He’s probably been here since 3am or so- but you’d never know it. Mark greeted everyone he saw with a “Good morning, sir!”’(or ma’am) and a smile. He asked me where I was going, how my day was, and if I was coming back to Phoenix. He actually took the extra moment to bring my food to me rather than set it on the counter and while doing so gave a couple of unruly kids a piece of candy to quiet them down. It is sad how rare service and an attitude like this are, but it was pleasant for this weekly traveler to see. Kudos, Mark. You’re a rare bird.”
