“Macayo’s is a Phoenix institution! It hits that spot deep down in your belly only some greasy spoon Mexican food can hit. Many items can be customized to dietary needs, I.e. no dairy, meat, etc. A couple good vegetarian/vegan options as well. I had the vegetarian enchiladas with no cheese and my wife had the veggie tacos with no cheese. Highly recommend for that taste of Phoenix! Don’t forget the fries ice cream!!”
