“First off , service was excellent. The girl who took care of us was super friendly and really knew the menu. She was cheerful and that goes a long way with us. I ordered the mole enchiladas and it did not disappoint . Mole sauce is house made and was sooo good. Rice and beans were super good too. The chips and salsa were a perfect start. Music is kind of loud and more for the younger crowd (us) but not sure if I would bring my grandma here since she would probably not like the music. Other than that we had an awesome experience and we will be returning!”

“My wife and I ate here while on vacation from Wisconsin. We took my wife's sister and my brother-in-law who live locally but had never eaten here. The place has a nice decor. We were happy to not have to wait for a table on a Saturday night, but then we realized that the place was half empty. The menu had an unusual combination of cajun and Japanese foods and the place also had elements of a sports bar as if the owner doesn't know what they wanted the place to be. Three of us had different mixed drinks and all of us were disappointed. The one who ordered a beer was happy with his selection. We had some appetizers, crab-avocado which was very good and some crab cheese puffs which were average. My wife only had a seafood salad which she didn't enjoy. The other three all had some boiled bags. These were excellent with either shrimp or snow crab, particularly with the garlic Cajun sauce, after we eventually figured out how to order. The menu had lots of typographical errors. Even though the place was not busy, our food and drinks took a long time to arrive. Our waitress was very friendly. This restaurant has potential but needs to figure out what it wants to be. My in-laws don't expect to come back.”

“I always past by this restaurant and finally decided to try it out. First off the atmosphere was really cool, from the various waterfalls around the place and the mini samurai armor it was really cool in there. But on to the food, it was really good. I expected the orange sauce to be a bit sweeter but it wasn't, it didn't take anything away from the tenderness of the beef. The rice was hot and very fluffy. I'll definitely try this place again and maybe dine-in to truly soak in the views.”

I was referred by my friend and was told by her that this man is honest, will give you all aspects of your case, and will not charge you for every little call or emails and so on. When I contacted him I was in the middle of firing my attorney I had but was at the beginning stage of that process. He told me it was unethical to talk to me while I had an attorney already. I totally respect him for saying that and I knew he was a good man. “This location almost never gives me issues with my food, and pretty much everything is great, but the only flaw they have is the cheese. If you’re eating in the store it will probably not be melted. I feel this could be circumvented if the choose is placed into the burrito first so it’s on the outside getting warmer first because I feel like when I take a bite out of the burrito I feel like I just took a pinch of choose out of a bag from a fridge and everything else is hot. The suddenness of the cold tastes feel gross. I love this location and in fact they tend to do better than most other Miguel’s locations, but I feel this is the one flaw they have preventing them from perfecting their service. I regular this location and used to regular the Tustin and Corona location so I’m basing this off comparison. The best burrito I’ve gotten from Miguel’s has to be during the opening day of this location and on the one in Norco.”

“My only complaint is that I haven't tried this place sooner! I live about a mile away from Golden Valley and have been meaning to give it a try for several months now, but today I finally have it a shot and I couldn't be happier! Everything about my experience was exceptional! The gentleman who helped me over the phone and when I went to pick up was very kind and friendly, even behind the mask, you knew he was smiling! The portion sizes are remarkable for the price and absolutely delicious! I got the lunch order of the Beef and Broccoli, my normal favorite, and everything was cooked perfectly! The broccoli was nice and soft with just a little crunch, the beef was thinly sliced and so tender, and then the sauce was the best part!! I'm always hesitant to try this at new places because too many restaurants have their own variations of the sauce, but Golden Valley was spot on and I couldn't get enough of it!! Just from that alone, I'm hooked now and will be coming back frequently! I also ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Vegetable Lo Mein and couldn't believe how full the to-go box was filled with my son's favorite noodles! Both entrees were delicious and a big hit with my very picky four year old! Thank you Golden Valley for such a satisfying lunch (and dinner tonight from all of the left overs), but also for being open for take-out during all of this COVID-19 craziness. You've got some new regulars!”
