“Okay so after so many people telling me to go try this place I finally had the chance to do so today. We traveled over to Hueytown today and ate at a restaurant known as Bell Peppers. Even got to meet the owner and everything. He was very nice and even made our orders for us. So here's a bit about this place. It's low carb friendly, keto friendly, and its a diabetics paradise. The owner if I'm not mistaken is a diabetic himself (Tony made a friend). Everything there was made fresh and was super delicious. The pizza was my favorite and if no one told you, you would never know that the pepperoni, sausage, and bacon on the pizza was all Turkey meat. I was very happy to leave this black owned restaurant not feeling like I shouldn't have eaten this. The inside was very clean and the food is top quality. You get what you pay for. I wanted to check before I drove past the window but a lady told me to move cause the cars are timed. The third time was good but the fourth time they didn't give me my key chain drink thing and seeing that the doors are locked I had to go to the drive thru windows to get the cause they constantly have a long line and I wasn't about to sit in it again.”

“Went here for the first time today for lunch. I had the 3-sides plate with collard greens, mac & cheese, and dressing. My husband had fried catfish, yams, and potato salad. Both came with a cornbread muffin. Everything was delicious! The owner/chef/server (he was the only one working and was doing all the jobs!) was friendly. I definitely want to go back to try more of their dishes. My only complaint is that it was very cold in the restaurant. Thus, I urge you to eat at Destiny's so that they make enough income that they can turn on their heat in January!”
