“Agape Cottage is a charming and restful retreat. Whether you need some pampering and relaxed time out, or would like to work on some issues in your life with founder and therapist Sharon Agates, I would recommend Agape. The facilities are amazing - a lovely cabin complete with log burner, DVD player, books, fire pit and a hot tub, plus nutritious and delicious home cooked meals and juices. I enjoyed venison steak for dinner, plus pancakes with fresh berries for breakfast - all beautifully cooked and served. You'll leave feeling freshed and nurtured. ”

“Has been my favourite Chinese take-away since moving into the local area in 1997 despite a change of ownership a couple of times. Consistently good food, discount for collection or free local delivery, free prawn crackers if you spend £15. Since last change of ownership, some non Chinese staff on the telephones / front desk that don't seem to be quite as efficient as previous owners/ staff. Occasionally 20 or 30 minutes wait for order to be cooked on Saturday evenings. Generally no complaints and worth the wait.”

“Afternoon lunch with my mum and sister's. Beautiful settings inside and out. Bar staff were wonderful, even gave mum a taster as she doesn't usually drink! The reason I've only given it 4stars is I prefer that sort of lunch in less formal settings rather than sat at a table. My mum disagrees”
