“Very happy with emergency room care. I waited a little to long to bring my daughter in because I was afraid of long wait but as soon as we walked in the nurse at front desk, Isaac, took one look at her at started to help her. He expedited the triage and alerted the doctor to her needs all while still attending to people at front desk of ER. The doctors, nurses, blood work nurse and ultrasound technician all provided prompt and kind treatment. It was obvious they were all extremely busy, they never stopped, the nurses practically running but every interaction we had or that I overheard was kind and professional. I thank them all for their care and feel very reassured that we have good people working in the ER. I think they need more supports so that they don't have to keep that pace up continuously, its not fair to them.”

“Well worth the wait for an intake date. The counselors and support staff all truly care about one's success in the program, they have been educated and some have had addiction experiences of their own. I would strongly recommend this place over private rehab facilities that aren't regulated. I attended "Stillwater " in welland and managed to stay 10 days. The quality and structure of Newport is superior over Stillwater, and you don't have to pay $12,000!”

“Came here while away for the weekend. They took me right in. The emergency staff was phenomenal. The triage nurse was so caring, I wish I had gotten her name! Then when I moved I had a nurse covering for another nurse and both of them were great! Christian is great at what he does even though he was exhausted after a long day! And the doctor was very thorough!”

“I went in via ambulance and needed to stay overnight on IV and heart monitor. The doctors, nurses, and paramedics made sure I was in good health, and were very kind to me. I felt very safe and cared for, which was a first in a while because I live alone. The nurse that did my blood work and IV was amazing, no pain at all. Went in at 7pm and was gone by 11am. It made me sad to see how often the staff here get yelled at. Obviously the emergency room wait time is pretty long but you have to understand they will treat the most urgent patients first.”

“A 98 year old friend was brought in by ambulance. The emergency staff was amazing even though it was insanely busy there. Everyone I had contact with was very helpful. The nurse on duty was attentive and compassionate. She treated her patients with care and concern while giving them the dignity they need. I was so impressed by this young health care professional. I’m not sure of her name, I think it begins with Dom. I must also mention the Doctor. He too was exceptional. These hard working diligent care givers deserve our respect and gratitude. “Great place, very clean, quick service. I've only been attending for a short time and I'm quite pleased with them. The Dr I see regularly is great and very professional. They have a blood lab on-site which is also phenomenal. I just wish they would answer the phone more often. I've spent days where I call in many times throughout the morning and afternoon and it's never answered. There was, I think, one day where the phone was answered. (I've been calling to confirm the lab's open hours but can't seem to get through, it goes to a recorded message asking to call back in 15 mins. I've also tried calling the lab's 800# but they're not better, cannot get an answer with them either).”
