“I love this park. So beautiful. First and second Welland canal run through it. Still has a lock from First Welland and can see lock going under the road of the Second Wrlland canal. The issue with this park has always been you never feel safe in this park. A lot homeless people and drug use. The city has never made this park a priority. Way to much garbage along both hillsides. I am still giving a 4 star it is a must visit during day if you love the local canal history.”

“This is my. Daughter's favorite park. The playground is shaped like a pirate ship so we have played many a game of pirates versus fairies and have buried countless pirate treasure filled with pine cones in the rocks. Also lots of field to run around in and to fly a kite.”
