Southward Community Park

Address: 84 Mud St W, Grassie, ON L0R 1M0, Canada

Park

“Beautiful sports park! Very clean :) Well done with the water drainage on the fields, as it poured cats and dogs on our tournament weekend. The bathrooms were a bit of a mess but expected with the rainy weather. My only real complaint was with the parking. With a park that big, no one should be forced to park in the fire zone because there were not enough available spaces. Lots of tickets that weekend! Lol”

Byng Island Conservation Area

Address: 4969 County Road 20, Dunnville, ON N1A 2W8, Canada

Park

“Went camping here with friends last week. We were 11 people and we booked 2 camp sites by the river in the Willows area. There was an extra fee ($34 for 2 nights) for an extra car (only 1 car was included in the fee per camp site). It was not too crowded during our time. We had a pleasant experience. The washrooms were regularly cleaned. Dogs are allowed. We also went on a short stroll on the hiking trail. Ice and firewood were also available. Overall, it was a fun time camping. Will definitely go back here.”

Riverside Oasis Farm - Best Yurt Glamping in Niagara, ON

Address: 6696 Canborough Rd, Wellandport, ON L0R 2J0, Canada

Campground Park Lodging

“Thank goodness this place exists. Stayed a night in the Kandy Yurt with a few girlfriends (4 total) and it was amazing. We all wished we’d booked an extra night. We visited during March and although it was a little chilly outside, the yurt was warm and cozy! We enjoyed the animals, had a nice walk around the property, and enjoyed our time chatting and cooking around the fire pit. We brought all of our own food & drinks, but the yurt was well supplied with cooking utensils, dishes, and glasses. Definitely recommend bringing water if staying more than 1 night with 2+ people. The farm fresh eggs provided were excellent! And we were thrilled to purchase the softest alpaca socks and slippers and the best honey I’ve ever tasted from the hosts. We felt so refreshed and happy after our night in the yurt. We look forward to coming back!”

Delaurier Homestead And Trail

Address: Leamington, ON N8H 3V4, Canada

Park

“Really neat trail, that essentially has two parts to the loop - a shorter trail that'll probably take 30min and a longer loop that stretches further out into the part. There's plenty of signage with small facts about the park, trail, and surrounding area - human traces, land transformation, vegetation, etc. There's plenty of boardwalks on the longer loop, but depending on the season there's little marsh as it's dry.”

Beamer Memorial Conservation Area

Address: 28 Quarry Rd, Grimsby, ON L3M 4E7, Canada

“Beautiful hike, easy to moderate difficulty. Was quite busy in places, but not too bad. Has some nice lookout points where you can see the Toronto skyline above Grimsby. The dog loved it!”

Scott's Campground

Address: 8845 Lundy's Ln, Niagara Falls, ON L2H 1H5, Canada

Campground Lodging Park

“Driving from the States into Canada and reading the negative reviews of this campsite, my wife was a little worried. We figured we would check it out and if we had any issues we would cancel and go elsewhere, but, I can honestly tell you that our experience was completely different from some of the negative reviewers. From the moment we got here, we have been treated very nicely. The front office staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have a gentleman that escorts you to your site and, something I've never seen before, he shows you all of the hook ups. As long time RVers we didn't need the explanation, but it is a nice small detail that definitely goes a long way for new RVers. As for the 2 adult clubs across the street, we didn't hear or see anyone outside at night. Our campsite was dry and clean. We are definitely glad that we stayed here.”

NET Camping Resort

Address: 2325 Victoria Ave, Fenwick, ON L0S 1C0, Canada

“My Grandma stays here as a seasonal and we come up to visit from time to time. Always an overall great experience. The campground has so many activities, very clean, and really nice people who stay here. There’s pools, a splash pad, long walking trails, go karts, and even paddle boats. It’s fun for anyone of all ages. I do want to highlight the lady who was working September 4th around 1pm, she is amazing, and makes you feel so welcomed. Truly a great representation of The Net.”

St. Clair Shores Park

Address: 200 Amy Croft Dr, Windsor, ON N9K 1E7, Canada

Park

“Child loves this park. Only thing is that a large group of men (approx 8-10) tend to gather close to the play yard on one of the benches despite not having children there. As a single mom, it does make me a little uncomfortable so i avoid going when i drive by and see this and go to another park in a different area (though it may have to do with a past trauma. Not sure if that may be having a larger impact on my opinion or if its just instinct)”

Saint Johns Conservation Area

Address: 3101 Barron Rd, Fonthill, ON L0S 1E6, Canada

Park

“I have live in St.Catharines my whole life and have never been here. What a cute trail and hiking area. It has a big pond that you can fish in, with benches around it and a floating dock. Its nicely tucked in and quiet. I found alot of mushrooms which is always fun to look at.”

Whirlpool Beach

Address: Niagara River Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON L0S 1J0, Canada

Park

“Whirlpool Beach: where even getting lost is part of the adventure! Trust me, you'll want a guide or a really good sense of direction, unless you fancy taking scenic detours that add a laugh-worthy extra 30 minutes to your journey. This trail isn't your grandma's Sunday stroll; it's got more ups and downs than a soap opera storyline. Not recommended for the young, the old, or the high-heeled! Ah, but the thrill of the trail is worth every gasp for air. Steep spots that make you question your life choices are quickly forgotten when you reach the beach. Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe it. Think of it as nature's VIP lounge, complete with whirls and cool currents for your viewing pleasure. Oh, and it's a fisherman's dream—so quiet you can hear the fish planning their escape. Short on time? No worries! This is a micro-vacation packed into a 30-minutes hike. And if you're counting, it's exactly 198 steps to reach the top. So, you can skip leg day at the gym. The view? Oh, it's like your favorite Instagram filter but better, especially when the sun's out to play. So put on those hiking boots and get ready for a whirlwind of a time at Whirlpool Beach! Just don't forget to catch your breath before tackling those steps on the way back. Trust me, you'll need it!”

Rock Point Provincial Park

Address: 215 Niece Rd, Dunnville, ON N1A 2X5, Canada

Park

“We camped at a different park, but visited this park for the day as it was relatively close by. Sites all appeared to be good sizes. Can't remember the trail name but we did the one that took you to the rocks with all the fossils. It was a beautiful day to be down by the water and have a breeze coming off the lake. The fossils are really cool and I think most curious kids, and kids at heart would find this really cool. The trail continues to a stair case and look out, its worth the hike!”

Ashby Drive Park

Address: 4079 Ashby Dr, Beamsville, ON L0R 1B6, Canada

“Sorry for these quite City photos I didn't get any great ones. It's your typical small park lots of space to run around. There's a basketball court. There is a kids jungle gym. And a past that goes around it of sidewalk. I take the dog for a walk here often”

Grimsby Beach

“The community around it is quite whimsical, with colorfully painted houses among tall mature trees. The beach is quite small and rocky, great for the locals. There are only 3 parking spots, so finding a place to park will be difficult. There are a number of nice benches overlooking the lake but no other amenities.”

Louth Conservation Area

It was a short, beautiful walk to Lloyd Oliver falls. Lots of wineries nearby to enjoy a glass before or after your hike.”
