(August 26, 2019, 9:15 am)My family loves coming here. The beach is nice and the the playground it super close. There's shade and lots of picnic tables. Great for a summer evening picnic. Usually not crowded in the evenings
(August 26, 2019, 9:00 am)Great place to be year round, but this review must be prefaced by the fact that its $5 to park per vehicle. They take cash and credit.
This park is huge, with flat fields for sports, woods and trails for hiking and running, sites for both camping and picnics. There is plenty of parking regardless of the activity. Throughout the year many events are hosted here, including road races in the winter. There are both primitive and modern facilities for restrooms and drinking water throughout the park. It's great to have a park like this so close to home.
(August 18, 2019, 4:01 pm)Nice bathrooms, actual toilets not pit toilets. Open area where we played our tournament was nice grass. The lake right there in the park is great too!
(June 24, 2019, 11:18 am)They have group and individual sites along with great picnic areas. We group camp with our family and rent a pavilion every year. Great times!

Generally not too crowded, safe area, easy parking, etc. Disregard other reviews about customer service personnel treating you badly based on "how you look, or what race you are." The reviewer provided no substantiation (even explicitly refusing to do so) and I can say I've seen zero evidence of this. What I can say from personal experience is that like most bankers, they do discriminate based on your wealth. Got a lot of money in Bank of America or want bring a lot? They will treat you extra well.
