Wind Drift Tactical

I just sent in my Ithica Model 500. The top lever spring was broken for almost 20 years (gun is over 59 years old-a very special gift from my Dad who has passed). When it broke originally, there was no good way to get a replacement part. Searched for years and gave up manually breaking the action with the lever. It was going to be very expensive to find and fix, at least according to the gunsmiths I talked to. I was able to meet with my new gunsmith and he found and was able to repair and replace the spring. It needed to be properly fitted to the shotgun as the only available spring was for a newer model and required significant modification. MY SHOTGUN IS BACK IN ACTION! I couldn’t be happier. He also was able to do the work for a very reasonable price which he was upfront about. Total turnaround time-less than two weeks!! Thanks Wind Drift Tactical!

I recently required work on my Marlin 795 22lr rifle. I had purchased a complete MCARBO trigger kit, heavy duty recoil spring and buffer assembly to run both high velocity ammo and to benefit from a lighter trigger pull. Being inexperienced and not confident in working on firearms, I searched the web to find a professional to work on my rifle to install these parts. To my surprise I found a local Slinger company, Wind Drift Tactical, that provided the services that I was requiring. When I dropped off the rifle, the owner also recommended to float the barrel to gain some additional accuracy, which is always a benefit. Once I received the rifle, I took it out to the back forty for a long day of practice. Once I got the scope dialed in, I was extremely happy with the performance of my Marlin both in its accuracy and in a lot less effort required for the trigger pull. I'm a very happy rifle owner now. I would highly recommend Wind Drift Tactical for these services provided, which was also completed in a timely fashion and at a very fair and reasonable price.
