“I nearly damaged the upper eyelet on my TTX shock using another brand preload collar without the thrust bearing due to the spring spinning and twisting the shock. After watching a youtube vid on Dave Moss’ channel about different preload collars I searched vigorously and found the collar with thrust bearing here at Track Side Suspension! Machining of the collar and fit of the preload stick is far superior. But the most important caveat is the set screw trackside includes has a hard plastic end to avoid deforming the threads on your shock body. Without the plastic at the end of the set screw or placing a hard density foam as a buffer using a regular set screw you can say good bye to your shock body. The other brand does not include set screws and makes no mention of potentially damaging the threads on your shock body. Very satisfied with this collar. Just wish it was easier to google search but glad I found it!”
