“4.8 miles, very pretty walk. We walked this each day, sometimes starting at the Lift Bridge, sometimes ending there. There's a rest stop off 36 in Wisconsin, it's very clean. Walking over the new bridge on 36, there is a lot of information about local wildlife, local history, and how the new bridge came to be. It's really a beautiful walk. I would like th o rent an electric bike and ride this or one of the many trails along the St. Croix.”

“Been here a couple of time, FYI there is some construction going on so expect detours as of 08/2021, The lake itself is very nice. You can have dogs as long as it's leashed and they also rent out paddleboats, kayaks, etc. nice location to be with the family. Also, there is very limited parking close to the lake in regards to where they rent the paddleboats, there is a section where you can unload but you have to park on top of the hill if you can't find lower parking.”

“This is definitely a really nice walk! Starting from the Wisconsin Side, .75 of a Mile, walking down onto the Old Stillwater Bridge and into downtown Stillwater, St Croix River can easily be seen! And then it’s a .75 mile back up which is a little hill up for sure back up to the parking lot on the Wisconsin side! I think you “technically” may have to pay to park, but just fine somewhere off a ways to park and you’ll be fine.”
