Today was the first time I went to an actual barber shop since I was a teenager, so I was a bit apprehensive, but I came away smiling and with my mind at ease. Courtney did an excellent job cutting my hair, did it in less time than what I was used to, and actually got my sideburns trimmed to the same length, which rarely happened in the past. And this was the first time in my life I ever had a straight razor shave of the back of my neck! It was nice! Hopefully Courtney will be there a long time, because I am definitely a happy customer. 🙂”

“Last year as a birthday gift a relative paid for me to get a hair relaxing since I had been struggling for a while finding a location in Snohomish county that was experienced and knowledgeable dealing with ethic hair. Upon meeting the owner, I immediately felt comfortable as if my own mother was dressing my hair. (My mom's profession is cosmetology). I had a relaxer application. Since I haven't had much maintenance prior a spent a bit more than I would have preferred but she was worth every penny. To my understanding at the time she was the only stylist in the salon. So appointments are pretty necessary, also if you think here rates are a bit much she is worth saving for. There is not many hair salons businesses in the state of Washington that accommodate the needs of African American ethic people. She provides hair relaxing, hair weaving and more. She has been able to run this business by herself and still cover the funds needed to keep the salon open. I plan on making another appointment with her once I am in a financially stable place.”

“She is a cheery person and really truly loves what she does, it is obvious in how well she does it. Some people might claim to be a master stylist but she truly can do miracles. She is realistic about cost and time with completely upfront numbers (no surprises at the end). I first brought my twin 3 year old girls in to fix some terrible bangs done by another salon for a first haircut (think bowl cuts that started going around the sides). In a matter of minutes she had completely fixed each! Next my other half went in and got a style update to reflect his recent promotion and she totally nailed it (he didn’t even know what he wanted). I came in today for a cut and fun color! I have already received compliments! I enjoyed her cute salon suite and she keeps a tidy ship! If you are looking for a upbeat person who really wants to make you feel and look wonderful go here! Don’t debate it, you are worth going to someone who enjoys what they do!”
