“My brother and I used to ride our bikes down there and spend our allowance on candy and soda! I got the chance to go back there while were stationed at Fort Lewis from 2009-2011. I took my wife around to show her where we used to live, and she went in to see it as well. Gosh, those aisles were so narrow! Just seeing the old wood floors took me back to my childhood. I used to buy the ORIGINAL Swedish Fish she had up on the counter in the jar by the dollar's worth. She would put them in a paper sack, and I would eat them all in like a day or two! Anyway...when we walked in, and the lady/owner(I can't remember her name) looked at me...and ACTUALLY remembered me! How weird was that?! It must've been 20+ years since I last walked in that door. I wish I would've taken a picture with her as a memory of that place. Glad to see it is still around. That is a GENUINE neighborhood icon! It is also nice to see the Pizza Kitchen is still open as well.”

“I get their food often and have never had a bad experience. I do order my pizzas “crispy” because they use sooooo much of each topping sometimes it doesn’t cook as well as I prefer. The desserts are to DIE for and they pride themselves on using the freshest ingredients available. They make several of the sauces, desserts and even the pizza dough in-house. They have really cool pizza combinations like the Greek Sailor, Ciao Italia and Spicy Brier - all delicious. My favorite pasta is the fettuccine carbonara with chicken and my favorite salad is the Gyro salad.”

“Hands down the only place I will ever go as long as I am alive.I had a hair emergency and Mrs.Burlnne was the only person I could find anywhere that specialized in extensions and working with fragile,thin hair ruined by someone else's work done way wrong.I took a chance by leaving a message on a sat eve and was surprised when I got a call Sunday from Melinda(the 2nd half of these 2 artistst)am) who listened to my dilemma and she truly cared and felt my pain.Without hesitation,she squeezed me in the next day (even though both artists were booked out for the rest of the year!)for a quick consultation and to see if there was any hope for my hair..LET ME JUST TELL YOU ..these girls saved my hair and restored my confidence with their amazing talent and sincere understanding of what I was going through They worked miracles and magic and my hair looks better than it ever has!The extensions are beautiful and I forget they are extensions because they have become my hair.my real hair continues to get healthy and grow which is amazing.. but the extensions are glamorous and my natural hair is incapable of ever having length body volume and curls like the ones I have now!.When I made that 1st call my hair was at the(with my extensions) Mrs Burlynne was able to remove 😅 raggedy,Matted,Fake "hair" that had been melted while being superglued to my hair and head and work with what was left on my head to give me a beautiful head of hair that day and 2.5 years later,I routinely get my maintenance..which includes removing my extensions to bleach my roots and then having them installed and trimmed or replaced if jts time to do so..So if you read this entire post then thanks for your time and if you are not already a client of theirs then I hope you get the vip pass to be a client in the future!”
