“I must say it’s gotten way better since the homeless camp across the street is gone. I went to get gas there and was treated wonderful by the staff and they were quite entertaining. They even had a security officer let me in the rest room Who also looked out for my safety at the gas pump to make sure I wasn’t harassed by homeless people for money which I really appreciated. It’s good to see they’re following the trend of other businesses in the city putting security on their property. Best experience I’ve ever had a gas station.”

“I’ve visited the Shell station at 8433 South Hosmer Street while on assignment working in Tacoma. It is a little tricky entrance and exit since it sits right near the exit from I-5. I have not used the convenience store but never had a wait while filling up the truck. It’s pretty central to major roads, hotels, and shopping.”

“My car broke down here last night as the store was closing. I informed them I had a tow truck coming but the wait could be up to 4 hours. I asked to use their restroom and was allowed. He stayed open a few extra minutes for me and warned me to be safe, as this is a sketchy area after dark. And believe me, I saw some very questionable activities in my few hour wait. Guy was very polite and understanding in my time of need. Thank you 4/5 stars”

“I was apart of the 2013 graduating class. The school is placed in a community where there are ups and downs. The school itself had a great vibe, but the students are a mixture of children from good homes and not so good homes. There are bullies at every school. Some teachers care, some don't. Like every school. Overall I had a great experience there.”
