“My kids have been attending NSFS for 4 years now and our family loves it. The staff is wonderful and dedicated to making sure every student succeeds. The community of parents is unbelievable, the support and friendship built has helped our family through difficult times. My kids are happy to go to school every day. The curriculum is rigorous and challenging. The student teacher ratio is low which allows for kids to learn French quickly. The school hires french native speakers to teach the French part of the curriculum and English native to teach the English part. We are very pleased with the school.”

“My son did his trumpet class, he was very patient, good with kids, lots of knowledge, and great teacher. I also liked the class is in his own private studio(very clean and I had place to wait watching my son's lesson). Also he is a professional musician as well as public music teacher. My son and I really enjoyed getting his lesson! We were sad that we had to stop during the Cove19 lock down, but he has started his offering online class, so we are planing to take his online classes. Highly recommended!!”

“I signed my daughter up for both singing and guitar classes due to her interest and passion for music. Being a musician myself I knew that it would take a very skillful school/teacher to get the best out of her. That’s when I found Henderson Academy of Music. Not only were the hourly rates great but they really helped me find the best instructor who also works around our schedule and even comes to my home instead of me having to take my daughter somewhere probably far. These were huge plusses for me in deciding to go with this school. MiKayla (instructor) is an excellent teacher and gets along outstandingly well with my daughter and works as a great motivational person which my daughter can look up to. She is very responsible, has the best vibe and I can tell she loves what she does. This all works out incredibly wonderful for me and I see day by day how my daughter’s knowledge skill and passion for music grows. I am more than happy to have chosen Henderson Academy of Music and would recommended it t anyone specially beginners!”

“I highly recommend St. Luke School! When deciding on where to send my children for school, the education was a very important factor but I also was looking to find a school that educated the whole person and had a community feel. Five years later, St. Luke School has exceeded my expectations. The teachers challenge my children and are extremely encouraging which has allowed my children to push themselves out of their comfort zone and flourish. The staff at the school (including the principal) know all of the children at the school which is remarkable. From the robotics club, chess club, cooking classes, spelling bees, the global reading challenge, choir to sports and field trips to see plays and volunteer at the SVDP food bank, my kids are being exposed to a large range of activities and are loving school! There is a sense of community at the school among the kids and the parents and many fun school events that get parents involved.”

“Coming to this monastery for several months, I am always very excited for friday night zen meditation and buddhism class. It is a great way to end the week, and when they have events on Sundays (ceromonies, half day retreats, etc), it is the perfect way to start the week! The nuns and volunteers always welcome you with a warm smile, they are a very delightful and helpful group of practitioners :) The classes are not like your typical lecture, they are easy to follow and the head nun is very funny and makes it very enjoyable! The meditation is very calming and effective :).”
