“Beautiful park. Great for walks and has some hidden spots that have some cool history to them. Try and find the overgrown homemade tractor.”

Shoreview Park

Address: 17229 3rd Ave NW, Shoreline, WA 98133, USA

Park

“Took the forest loop trail from the parking lot but only made it into the open forest space, which is perfect for a toddler. Had a stroller and encountered stairs and a long way down to continue on the loop. Anyway, the trees and woodland space was more than enough to entertain my little guy. Plenty of open space under the trees to roam around and forget you're in a city.”

Richmond Beach Saltwater Park

Address: 2021 NW 190th St, Shoreline, WA 98177, USA

Park

“A wonderful place to come visit the Puget Sound. The beach is mostly rocky, but there are patches of sand to dig around in. The bridge across the train tracks gives a great view of the beach and provides a cool vantage point when trains come by. There's also a really cool playground up above the main parking lot, before you get to the beach, and a couple of paths and trails that go around the very top of the park.”

“Nice park. Wheelchair accessible trails through a forest park. Forest is located between a playground and the soccer fields. It is adjacent to the Shoreline pool. There is cedar, madrona and pine. Salal, blackberries, ferns. The sounds of traffic is muffled and one is able to get away.”

North City Park

Address: 19201 10th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155, USA

Park

“Meandering paved trails, trees enough to be a forest, just a completely nestled little gift you don't expect that fills the mind and lungs with refreshing. I adore this little park. There is a front area with paved trails, and a back area with sticks to play with and some small bike jumps. It goes from the street right up to I-5. Perfect for a short shot to the trees with your littles, or a morning talk with God. "Friendly" is the name of the feeling. Just a lovely place. It's not highly maintained, so there is some litter here and there, but it disappears - and I've never seen drug paraphernalia. That is normal to run into, closer to Seattle. But it is maintained - just enough to be clean and intentional, but it is left alone enough to feel like a homey place, not manicured. To me, it's perfect.”

Innis Arden Reserve Park

Address: 17701 15th Ave NW, Shoreline, WA 98177, USA

Park

“Undeveloped city park. The main trail through the park developed naturally and was always muddy and a bit sketchy. The city has done a bunch of work to improve it, adding stairs, gravel in places, and plank walkways.”

South Woods Park

Address: 2210 NE 150th St, Shoreline, WA 98155, USA

Park

“nice little park, close to my house, but feels like you're "lost in the forest" (in a good way)....usually pretty empty. Went there a few days ago and there were a few mountain bikers...it's not really big enough for that and was very nerve wracking to continually hear a bike coming full speed behind you when you're trying to take a leisurely stroll.”

“Nice little peaceful walk. They also sell plants here as well. Was able pick up some succulents”
