“My husband and I stopped in Friday evening and had a very enjoyable time. The staff was very friendly and did a fantastic job making us feel welcome. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner and the great stout beer. The Inn along with dining room are beautiful. After dinner we went downstairs to the Pub and enjoyed listening to the music. We will be visiting the Montross Inn on a regular basis.”

“This is a fun place to visit and a favorite camping spot of ours within a short driving distance of Fredericksburg. The camp grounds are clean and wooded. In the summer there is a beach and pool for swimming. In my opinion the best part of the park is Fossil Beach and the hike thereto. Located on the banks of the Potomac, the beach is a great place to look (and often find) fossilized shark teeth. The hike to the beach is a little under a mile in length and provides good bird watching opportunities in the spring.”

Nice shaded level sites and beautiful pool.They also have member specialists on site, who are very helpful, if you are considering joining thousand trails.”

From the moment I made my reservation to my arrival, she was nothing but responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, I was welcomed into a pristine room that met my every need. I've found her entire establishment to be unique and charming without sacrificing one once of utility. She will provide you with what you need for a great stay, while making you feel right at home. The added benefit of a stay at the Tides Inn B&B is the amenities, particularly the Tides Inn Market. The food and beverage you will find in the market are top notch! Meghan and her daughter provide an excellent culinary experience and nearly everything you'll be offered is home made and healthy. You'll be welcomed by great food and great company to boot, as this is a local hangout which is exceptionally lively, friendly, and welcoming. Lastly, you'll be staying a short walk from the western shore of the Potomac (3 mins walking). “Previously I gave a review that was incorrect and for another place we stayed in Virginia beach. Our stay at the Riverview was great,I loved the nautica look of the room very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable the bedding,comforters and pillows were cozy and luxurious. The one thing I was not happy about was the bathroom door being see through. I stayed in a room with my teenage son and grandchildren, you are able to see the person naked in the bathroom, we hung a towel over the door????????. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely need a smoking area.”
