“I’m a little late, but I definitely wanted to leave a review. This place was wonderful. I stayed for two days on my birthday last August, and the homes are not only cute but really wonderfully put together. It’s so peaceful there at night too, even when it was raining. Most importantly, the owners are wonderful. I had forgotten a hat there after leaving on my last day, and not only did they respond to my initial email of concern about it promptly and politely, they even went through the effort to send the hat back to me! Stellar customer service for an already stellar stay. Can’t recommend enough. Will certainly stay again if I can help it.”

“My husband surprised me with a weekend stay at the Fig Street Inn for our anniversary. It did not disappoint! Greg and Donna were very attentive to our needs while also giving us plenty of privacy. They are welcoming and kind. The room was clean and comfortable with our own full bath. The breakfast each morning was excellent! We also enjoyed the coffee delivery each morning before breakfast per our request. The town of Cape Charles is charming! The shops, restaurants and beach are all within walking distance from Fig Street Inn but we mostly chose to drive and parking was convenient. I highly recommend staying at the Fig Street Inn!”

“Miss Pam at the front desk overnight was wonderful. My boyfriend and I talked to her for a long time. She felt like an old friend and made our stay great. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Little disappointed the light up makeup mirror wasn’t working in our bathroom but nothing that would prevent us from returning. We will be back to visit our new friend, Miss Pam.”

“The home is historic & gorgeous. Our room the Alyce Wilson was large and very comfortable & private bath. We fell right to sleep in the comfy bed after driving around all day in our rented golf cart. At night we sat on the covered side porch & loved the breezes on the swing. Innkeepers Tammy & Jim were very friendly & the breakfasts were filling & delicious. Such nice people. Highly recommend Bay Haven Inn you won't be sorry.”

“Nicely maintained docks and grounds. Pleasant and helpful staff. Relaxing views and area. Would recommend this to other boaters. It is a bit of a walk to town to get to any shops and restaurants. They do not rent any bikes or golf carts. The C Pier has a lovely and fun vibe with raw bar food and drinks on Friday nights. A couple of things to make this more worthwhile on a holiday weekend would be to offer periodic golf cart shuttle rides to town and maybe more hours with the CPier open. It’s such a beautiful venue, it could attract more people on the long weekends.”

“A beautiful state park next to the ocean. It turned so romantic during sunset time. Of course during day time, it was a perfect place to take photos with the ocean as well. Another thing to mention is that it is a good place for fishing. We saw many fishers there from day to night. The park is free while you need to pay $7 of parking fee. Plus, there is a $18 of toll on both directions.”

“Adorable place to stay for a night! We went in not expecting anything fancy, but it far exceeded our expectations! We stayed in a really nice room in the B&B. It was cozy and very clean, bathroom was spacious. We were also served breakfast in the morning and the food was great! The manager was wonderful and very accommodating. The grounds of the property are well maintained and the pool was an added bonus! Pleasantly surprised and would definitely return if we are back in the area!”

“5 stars because there's just so much to do, food is good and it's especially nice there's a connecting pizza place. Go cart, virtual reality gaming, arcade, lazer room, and of course bowling. My family and I enjoyed at least three hours doing everything and it got me out of the house. Altogether, a day well spent.”

“Mike (the owner) was very nice and you can tell that he really wants you to enjoy your stay. The b&b clean and fresh smelling. I would like to return when it is warmer because it has its own beach. I would definitely recommend Baywood Bed and Breakfast.”
