“Pickup was smooth. They had my car waiting for me, no problems. (I'm a preferred member so was able to skip the counter and go to the booth directly.) Car worked fine. Drop off was also easy and smooth. The only headache was that I was billed the wrong amount (the amount in my email didn't match the amount I was billed). This was fairly quickly fixed at drop off, but should not have had to deal with it to start with. 4 out of 5 stars.”

“No surprises. Wish other car rental companies worked this well. Got a Flight/rental package to Norfolk VA and Dollar rental car company supplied the vehicle. The transaction was seamless! I even got the car that was listed. (I usually wind up with something else). My only issue that occurred was by my own hand. I left some items in the car on arrival and didn't realize it until I got home. I filled out the lost and found form on their site and 3 days later got a call from them that they had my things. You don't know how much that meant to me. Thank you Norfolk Int. Airport Dollar Car rental employees AND your associates!.”

Budget customer service, quality of rental cars , and the pleasant/ positive attitude are commendable. We returned the rental earlier than anticipated without recognizing penalties delineated within Expedia’s contract, yet the manager went above and beyond to make adjustments; which exceeded expectations. “Not exactly sure why there are negative comments about the Norfolk Airport location. My parents deal with this company on a constant basis. Every time my parents rent from this location, they have been treated very well. April, Preston, Margaret, Kim, Robert, Samantha, Tiffany, and others have all been respectful, professional, and absolutely nice to parents. Even when customer services lies to us, the counter is more than helpful to give my parents direct assistance. Even when my mother takes a minute to understand everything, the company takes their time and patience with her. My dad rented from this company a few times. The entire counter is nice and do their best to make sure that the help everyone. Even the rude customers who don't deserve any respect from them, gets professional assistance. Better than other Thrifty locations thats for sure.”
