I guess you could say the color choices brightened your day right up. The thing I found I didn't like was no coffee pot in the room but the coffee down in the lobby was very good. Atmosphere, customer service and cleanliness was good. Really, no complaints.”

“As A truck you get use to stay in 2,3 star places, but this place was not one of them. The rooms are spacious and designed for comfort. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. It right next to a truck stop(TA) BUT DON'T LET THAT FOOL YOU!!! a great experience for when you live out on the road. I highly recommend!!!!!”

“I had to leave the one right outside of Richmond at 1am because my family didn't feel safe there and it seemed like the employees didn't really care or make any attempt to make the situation better. However when we got to the one in Ashland we felt 100% better about everything the gentleman that helped us was so sweet and friendly. All the doors leading into the building required a room key which now that I'm saying it sounds crazy that I need to even mention it but the one we left seemed to not be on top of their security. Anyway this chain of hotels totally redeemed themselves with their Ashland establishment.”

As it was a hard time for my family so Sharon McKenna was an incredible help accommodating our short notice need for a stay at the Tinder Guest House. The home itself has plenty of room for a larger family and a beautiful collection of antiques. The breakfasts in the mornings were delicious, home made by Sharon herself! It perfectly balances an exploration of history of the town and the comfort of a warm, loving home. If you're going to VA and are in need of a stay, please consider the Tinder Guest House. My family and I would not have been half as happy if we had booked a hotel. The comfort and safety of the home made the visit all the better.”

“This place was MORE than I expected. I was driving down from NYC to FL and decided to stop here over night. I can honestly say it was a great decision. I was traveling with my mom (69yo), nephew (15yo), and daughter (6yo). I had no complaints. We all slept very comfortably. The breakfast was also good. I couldn't tell if it was remodeled or new. Either way I recommend this place. It was definitely more than we asked for. Thank you for the great service.”
