“I am American and I approve this message: I was fortunate enough to be able to refuel my Uhaul here during the infamous pipeline fiasco/ gas shortage panic. Afterward, I was graciously permitted to use the restroom by a very handsome gentleman working the counter (perhaps purchase is prerequisite to being able to use the facilities, as would seem to be standard practice at many gas stations nowadays; nothing to be critical about). They also carry my favorite on-the-road snack (Lenny&Larry's big cookies), and have multiple flavors of my favorite energy drink (Reign) in stock that I'd never even heard of. The gentlemen working the counter, in addition to being easy on the eyes, was friendly and explained he works two jobs around the clock, so I appreciate his being hardworking. I cannot speak for anyone other than myself, but my brief stop here was very pleasant and I am therefore happy to leave feedback to signal to others that this station deserves a higher rating than what it seems to have currently.”

“Dr. Haine is a dedicated professional. He took my call at 7 on a Friday night with my symptoms directed me to RIV (retina institute of Virginia) having detached retina surgery Monday. He has saved my vision, my regular Dr couldn’t se me till the 28th. I’d be permanently blind by then. I will trust my eyes to Dr. Haine from now on.”

“Mac’s is the most thorough repair shop I’ve ever used, and yet remains one of the more affordable options I have as well. They have found and fixed issues that my dealership and other shops have missed. I’m a huge fan of the video and picture text system that they use. You will see documentation of each issue as clear as day before authorizing the repair, along with an explanation of that part’s impact on the rest of the car. I put a lot of miles on my car and depend on it to make a 200 mile round trip commute twice a week, and Mac’s is the only shop I plan on letting touch my car from here on out. Great work at a fair price.”

“I loved how wonderful the staff and management was here. I moved across the states for work, from Nevada to Ashland, Virginia. I stayed there 2weeks while waiting on my townhouse. I arrived exhausted and stressed never knowing how long my stay would be. They were very accommodating to me and my pup. Forever grateful!”

“Looking for a place to have lunch on our way south from Florence and happened upon this establishment. We had eggplant parmigiana, baked ravioli, salad and garlic knots which were so light and tasty! The restaurant was very clean, staff friendly and helpful with menu and very reasonable prices. We met the owners and had a wonderful conversation, felt like we were visiting relatives!! This is a great place to stop, the town is quiet and it’s easy access for I-95. We will definitely be visiting here on our next trip north.”

“My family and I stopped by Thanksgiving morning as we traveled to Maryland. Restuarant was a little busy but we stayed anyways. Our waitress Jasmine were the best. “I love Panera Bread especially since they are now in Ashland Virginia. The service was wonderful. And as always they have a wonderful breakfast. So many to pick from. One of my favorite is the everything bagel whipped cream cheese. And I love the dark roast coffee. They have various teas to pick from. Herbal, black, absolutely wonderful.”
