“My band recorded our fourth album with Jeff at Wally Cleaver's Recording over the summer, we were absolutely floored by the quality and professionalism of his work. Jeff is easily one of the most talented, efficient and friendliest producers that I have had the pleasure to work with. This was our second time making a record with Jeff and we have already planned our future releases to have a home at his studio. Jeff pushes to get the best performances from whomever he works with, and more importantly helps to organize you and your band's time into a logical economy. This man does not mess around with your time and his recordings are the proof. Being a musician who is often also organizing my project's daily tasks, there are sometimes surprises that can spring up. When quick solutions are needed, for example while my main guitar was being tracked I had a shorted wire and a loss of intonation, Jeff swooped in and helped me repair on the spot! When you arrive at your session, you will first enter a control room with great acoustics, and of course, extremely high quality gear. From the monitors, mixing boards, compressors to the plug-ins on his DAW or even the amazing analog 2 inch tape machines, you might not want to leave what is any musician's audio heaven. Then through the hallway, you will see some Isolation booths that are expertly designed and ready to go. Next you will find a beautifully spacious drum room that could fit a Terry Bozzio kit quite comfortably. The quality of Wally Cleaver's output is not only due to this amazing studio space but can be better measured by the masterful handling and artistry of the owner Jeff. Honestly, there is no one else I would trust with my music, and I don't see myself taking my business elsewhere anytime soon- do yourself a favor and book a session.”
