“Trail riding at Charlie and Melissa’s Walking After Midnight Farm was one of the best experiences! The woods by the stream are breathtaking. The horses were gentle with a beautiful canter (I am a novice...it’s been years since horseback riding lessons). And the people were warm, personable, and super funny. I loved spending the day here. If I lived closer, I might be tempted to go every day. :)”

“Our stay here was incredible. The property, accommodations, breakfast and customer service all exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the cabin, which was beautifully decorated and very clean. It had a view of the pond, and a cute little porch with rocking chairs. Dereck and Tiffany were amazing hosts and Dereck’s breakfasts were gourmet. We will definitely be back!”

“I can’t remember the ladies name (sorry) that helped us. She gave us our room but it was on the top floor and my sister is so scared of heights so I had to see if she would give us a room closer to the bottom floor. She didn’t know how to do that I think but someone was coming in to help her with that. When the guy got there they help us get another room. They was friendly and helpful! They were awesome and we loved our stay there on our way home.”

Check in was fast and simple and front desk staff is very friendly. Only downfalls breakfast area is small for seating and there's no elevator if your room is on the second floor.”

“We have been coming to Candy Hill for many years. Easy off and easy on the highway. Although we mainly use it as a stopover on our way to Florida only staying a day or two, we have stayed longer and have explored the beautiful Winchester area. It is always clean and well maintained. We particularly like the luxury sites with cement pads that have been added in the past few years. They continue to make updates and improvements to their sites and we applaud their efforts. The park has a nice fenced dog area with plenty of “poop bag” stations throughout the park. We have always enjoyed our visits and will definitely return.”

“We were traveling for Thanksgiving and the kids wanted to swim. This hotel has an indoor pool and it is pet friendly. My husband is a disabled veteran and travels with a service dog. I personally HATE staying in hotels but this place was clean. The pet friendly floor and room smelled clean. The pool was nice and nothing fancy, but 4-year-old twins aren't looking for fancy they're looking for a place to splash and have fun. The breakfast was basic stuff. The woman kept it stocked though and our bellies were full so no complaints. Overall we had a great stay. Sarah was super helpful during check-in and T was sweet and made checkout easy.”

The place is easy to find, is in great condition, is safe, quiet, clean and all at a very good price that comes with continental breakfast.. The waffles, orange juice, and food was good.... We were greeted, helped and checked in by a very pleasant employee and the next day we were greeted, helped and checked out by a very pleasant Manager... Our maid was great and very pleasant ????????????.. The room has cable tv, coffee pot, hair dryer, microwave, refrigerator.... We say Highly Recommended ????and we will return.. very pleased thank you..”
