Mariachi El Rey VA - MD - DC

We hired Mariachi el Rey to play at our wedding reception for ~35 people on a restaurant patio space. I cannot recommend this band highly enough. They were very professional, sounded great, and could play many of our different requests on the fly. Thank you to the band for bringing their talents to DC for us!

We hired Mariachi el Rey for our wedding in Woodbridge, VA on 9/25/21 and they put on an amazing performance during our dinner hour. We had previously hired them for a smaller birthday event (my husband's grandma) and we enjoyed their services so much it was a no-brainer to book them again for our wedding. They were responsive from the very beginning when we were seeking information about their pricing and packages, made the booking process super easy, and were open to our requests about specific songs we wanted them to play on our big day. We worked back and forth with Javier and arrived at a good list of songs from their huge repertoire and we had asked for a few more somber songs we wanted to dedicate to our family members but they kicked off their performances so strongly that our guests started dancing from the beginning and were having so much fun so I asked Javier to change the plan of song dedications and just keep on with the upbeat songs that were keeping people dancing and the group was so flexible and understood the assignment perfectly! They kept the dance floor full with fun songs the entire dinner hour and even a little extra because everyone was having so much fun! Our guests had so many great things to say about Mariachi El Rey and we look forward to having them at our next big party - they definitely continue to be our first choice in Mariachi! Book Mariachi El Rey, you won't regret it!

From start to finish these guys are professional, well dressed, respectful, extremely talented, and were the very best we have ever experienced. Hired for surprise birthday dinner for my wife with family and they shocked us with their performance...the owner of the high-end restaurant and patrons sharing our celebration were impressed and enjoyed the experience. I have taken the time to truly inform ANYONE who considers a premier Mariachi performance...these guys are THE VERY BEST. Thank you guys for the most memorable night...even our kids were dancing the very next day and singing!!!

I booked Mariachi El Rey for an October birthday party and was not disappointed. Javier was responsive and very clear on the pricing for the length of time and amount/type of musicians. All of the musicians were professional. The birthday party was a hit and it will be remembered for the wonderful entertainment. It was so amazing to have a live band especially during this pandemic time. We streamed the party live to international relatives. The band played outside and was able to keep a safe distance from the small party attendees. I would not hesitate to book again for a future event.
