Daniels Run Park

Address: Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Park

“Nice short community trail that connects several neighborhoods. Really clean. Good job to the visitors and FCPA for its upkeep. It's made of a few trails that offer some hills, flat terrain. A bit of everything. Even coyotes, apparently. We didn't see any, but lots of warning sign to be on the lookout for them. There's a cool search and find holiday game for the kids that's a plus!”

Providence Park

Address: 10735 West Dr, Fairfax, VA 22030, USA

Park

“Shady playground for both big and little kiddos. Swings, picnic shelter and grill, big soccer field, tennis courts, and trails; a hidden gem in Fairfax city. Good for groups and birthdays (reserve with the city) , field sports. Not really a learn to ride a bike area. Didn't see any restrooms or running water.”

Thaiss Park

Address: 3401 Pickett Road, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Park

“Hiking trails are great. I highly recommend it. I would like to add that it floods when we have heavy rain and thunderstorms. The water might rise above the bridge and up to your knees. Just make sure to check the weather before you start your walk.”

Dale Lestina Park

Address: 3157 Plantation Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22030, USA

Park

“Such a hidden gem in the Mosby Woods neighborhood! It's a small park, but it has a lot for our family: toddler playground, big kid playground, swings, and picnic tables. There's a walking trail towards the back of the park. My 2.5 yo loved the toddler playground and didn't want to leave. PRO: the park is recessed from the road, so less worry about little ones wandering near cars.”

Fairchester Woods Park

Address: 10836 Warwick Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030, USA

Park

“This is a really great playground, it’s essentially fenced in, the only problem with it as the slides can get very hot in the morning sun. But it is perfect in the evening or on a cloudy day! Lots of great features for my almost 3-year-old!”

Ranger Road Park

Address: Fairfax, VA 22030, USA

Park

“Nice park for walking your dog. Some kids play sets for toddlers mainly. There is a bball court that's usable and in the shade but alot of leaves in the fall.”

Stafford Drive Park

Address: 3300 Stafford Dr, Fairfax, VA 22030, USA

Park

“There is a large playground for children, a very pristine, single soccer field with man made turf, a path that leads into the woods where you can either loop back out or go down to the creek in Ranger Road Park. They have put plenty of benches around and bathrooms rather than out houses. If you forget snacks or work up an appetite, there is a Freddie's. If you have drugstore needs, there is a CVS. Should you fall down ho boom, Patient First is within walking distance and if you REALLY mess yourself up, the fire station is right across Fairfax Blvd. There is plenty of parking. A lot of people protested this park being built. I think it's pretty nice. Why not give it a try.”
