“Fellow Archers, in response to an earlier post of a disgruntled hunter. I have been a return client of Broken Horn Outfitters for 3 years running and have again booked a hunt for 2021. My hunts at Broken Horn have been “self guided” although I’m a rookie archer with 2020 my 4th year in pursuit. Every year with the help of Gordon and his guides I have had many opportunity with mature bugling bulls with my first success in 2020. Chasing elk is a tough game let alone with a stick. I don’t expect an outfitter to place an animal in my lap but rather I rely on my own instincts and experience combined with the outfitter’s to attain a quality hunt. I would certainly rate 2020 as a quality hunt with the amount of animals and mature bulls on the properties. I have witnessed first hand all walks of hunters stroll thru an outfitters place of business, some of which I have no desire to share a space with let alone a hunt. I would recommend Broken Horn Outfitters if you are willing to put in the effort and make it a quality hunt. Bruce”

“My wife and I went to this location on 2/4/2023 we had a awesome experience. When we first walked in we were greeted and told there would be a 30min wait. Within 15min we were being set down at a table. Our server Jorden was awesome. For it being her second day on her own without her trainer she was excellent. Very attentive, Friendly as well very professional. Also the food was on point.”

“We had a party of 6 and was seated immediately upon arrival. We placed our orders within 5 or so minutes and it took between 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive to the table. The waitress was fairly attentive, although we did not receive all of our food as ordered. We did have to correct one of orders because they sent out the wrong thing. Overall, the food was good and the waitress kept our drinks filled.”

“Good Taco Bell to eat at. They had some cleaning supplies and restock items on tables while we where there but it just may have been that time of day for them. Didn't see anyone using them though while we where dining. Food was on par for Taco Bell and the service was great.”

“Great experience overall! Valentine's day dinner, huge crowd too... But I reserved online a few hours prior and only waited about 15 minutes. Got our bread and bat sinks within 5 minutes of ordering them ( and they were good) she had the Blackberry Martini, I had the Boomerang margherita flight. Dinner was great too. Our waitress the bomb! I wish I could remember her name, but I tipped her a $20 even though 15 percent was only like $12... Both of our entrees were well seasoned and delicious. My only issue was initially, my order of shrimp came out cold... The lobster and crab cakes were hot and fresh... Our waitress immediately came back with fresh, steaming hot and fresh shrimp a few minutes after I notified her. I had a good experience and would recommend Outback Steakhouse near Chesapeake Square Mall ( or rather Portsmouth Blvd).”
