Inn at Eagles' Watch

Address: 12500 Eagles Nest Rd, Charles City, VA 23030, USA

Lodging

“We opted to stay at this charming inn vs a hotel/B&B in downtown Williamsburg because of the location! The setting couldn't be more serene. The home was built in the 1600's and the decor throughout the home really makes you feel like you have stepped back into time. Jennifer did a spectacular job with all the details in the home. Luxury and classy touches. The wine and cheese upon our arrival as well as the breakfast was top notch!!!”

North Bend Plantation

Address: 12200 Weyanoke Rd, Charles City, VA 23030, USA

Lodging

“A wonderfully delightful B&B. My wife and I stayed only 1 night while attending an event at The Glebe, but wished we could have stayed longer. It's loaded with history and would be a great place to stay to visit the historical plantations of the area.”

Primrose Cottage At Two Rivers

Address: 16538 Chickahominy Bluff Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185, USA

Lodging

“We loved our stay here. We are kayakers who brought our boats and spent a lovely peaceful little vaca on the water. It was amazing to be so close to Williamsburg and hardly see a sole as we spent our time in creeks up the Chickahomony. It is not ON the water, but you can walk to a dock easy enough. It would be a fantastic, cost effective place for a family to stay who wants to visit Jamestown, and even Williamsburg. It was very clean and our host Inge was very helpful.”

The Bed and Breakfast at Peace Hill

Address: 18401 The Glebe Ln, Charles City, VA 23030, USA

Lodging

“Stopped by for a craft fair in a beautiful Saturday. They had gourmet food options for an amazing price. Bands were playing during the day. The bonus was that we were able to walk around the farm at our leisure and visit the farm animals.”

Edgewood Plantation

Address: 4800 John Tyler Memorial Hwy, Charles City, VA 23030, USA

Lodging

“Amazing location... hosts couldn't be friendlier... caught some orbs and light anomalies on video on the property day AND night... overnight had a dream where i was on the plantation in its heyday and was escorted by a young lady throughout the property... at breakfast the next morning, i told Dot about the dream and she pulled out old photos of the property and of the woman said to haunt the place... all photos i had not previously seen... they matched my dream... the woman from the dreams had a particular interest in me staying with her... on the ride home from picking up our children in Virginia Beach, we were involved in a serious car accident where the only people injured were my wife and her daughter that shares no blood with me... my daughter and i didn't even have a scratch... something REAL is there... will definitely go again”

Piney Grove at Southall's Plantation

Address: 16920 Southall Plantation Ln, Charles City, VA 23030, USA

Lodging

“We always look forward to our annual visit to this comfortable home. This year, we enjoyed the new kitchen area added to our room since last year. All the rooms in the guest house are cozy and quiet, with antique furniture and private baths. Great location for home base. Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown aren't far away, and this B&B is just down the road from the James River plantations. But we always return to Piney Grove since it is also near Richmond. Route 5 takes you directly through the Rocketts Landing neighborhood, and then on into downtown Richmond.”
