“This was our first family ski trip in many years. We used to go downhill skiing but the cost has gotten ridiculous (nearby Mt. Snow would have cost us 1k for two days of skiing with rentals, lesson, and lift tickets). Not only was the price much more reasonable at Prospect but we had the added bonus of not having to avoid out of control beginner snow boarders on every run. A huge perk for sure! The staff were courteous and helpful. They do not have lockers but the owner offered to keep my wife's purse safe behind the counter while we went skiing. The resort has a small town vibe and even the folks skiing there were friendly. Lots of smiles, waves, and even a few people stopped to cheer on our five year old son as he tucked into a racing stance for a run down the hill. Sunday there was a race going on and the parking lot was probably half full. However, the runs never felt crowded probably due to the amount of terrain available, which really helped spread everyone out. The pesto in the lodge is delicious and they even had veggie and black bean burgers, which was great because I am vegan. The serving sizes were a little small though, or maybe I was just famished from skiing for several hours... Despite the portions the food was good, no complaints there. After lunch save your scraps for the wild pheasant (ask the staff where you can find him/her) that likes to come out of the forest and prance around in exchange for food. We paid for a private couples lesson both days and our instructor Jenn was top notch. I used to be an assistant ski instructor (adaptive programs) and her ability to communicate clearly and effectively while being very encouraging soon had my wife skiing comfortably on the green runs and helped me dial in my skate technique (on classic skis no less too)! We had a blast at Prospect and will certainly be coming back throughout the season.”

“We drove by the new location in Williston on a whim and decided to check-it out. We have always been intimidated by the thought of purchasing a hot tub as we have never had one before but always wanted one. We were immediately greeted and everyone was so incredibly helpful. Nick was the salesperson that we worked with and we really appreciated all of his knowledge and walking us through so many questions. He was very hands-off and we never once felt pressured or had the feeling we were being "sold to" which was a huge perk! We ultimately decided to purchase a hot tub. It took about 4-6 weeks from order to delivery but we were always kept informed. The delivery process was so smooth and the delivery crew was so incredibly kind and helpful! “This restaurant was a delight, and a surprise to find in rural Vermont. From the moment we stepped in we could smell the spices all around. Everything we ordered was a delicious combination of sweet and spicy (about a light medium on spice level for the dishes we ate). The curry noodle soup had a delightfully rich and complex broth, and nice thick noodles with a chew. The servers were all extremely friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I am so glad we stopped at this place!”

The summer rolls, lemon grass beef sticks, and chicken satay were great to share and we got the phnom penh sandwich with lemon grass beef- the bread was toasted and slightly flaky, the beef well marinated, the pickled carrot was slightly sweet with a bite of vinegar, the fresh hint of cilantro, and then just the right amount of Mayo for it not to be dry. Total came out to be under $30 and fed two adults WELL!”

“Such a great time on a hot day! We went yesterday and were immediately picked up by van and taken to the river (an easy 5 minute ride). Then we were helped into our tubes and sent on our way! What a beautiful river with amazing views. There was no sense of urgency to be back by a certain time and we floated and relaxed for hours. Finding our drop off spot was easy and we were greeted by Kirsten (Kristen) who had our keys waiting for us to easily walk back to our cars. She is so efficient and runs a great operation!”
