(June 12, 2019, 12:37 pm)Close to home, short hike in, breeze off the lake and I'm usually the only one there. This time I had my brand new Kickstarter toy, Mantis UL hammock system from Kammock. What's not to love?

(April 14, 2019, 6:15 pm)What a great spot! I'm hesitant to leave a good review as I wouldn't want it to get crowded yet its awesome. Now with that said, it's a hike in camping area along lone star hiking trail. This means no electricity, no running water, no toilets! If you need civilization don't go.
If you can handle all above ,the view of the lake is perfect and some areas are cleared out pretty good for tents.
The hiking trail is super long yet you can park a half mile away on one of the trails heads. Keep going past this spot and you will hit Stubblefield field camp grounds.
