“The staff at Park Manor is, by far, the best we have seen. My mom is in Park Manor due to her medical conditions. The nursing staff and the support staff are incredible and they care so much for their residents. They are more than my mom's nurses; they have become her friends and they care about her. It is not easy for her to be there as she wants to be home like anyone else. Unfortunately, her medical conditions do not allow that. She needs skilled nursing. Her nurses at Park Manor are so kind and compassionate. They take time to have conversations with my mom no matter how busy they might be and they ask questions about her life's experiences. We have experience with two other facilities and the staff is not nearly as good. I could rave about the care for days! There is a very large physical therapy room on site and there are several great physical therapists. The activities for the residents are fun and we see many smiles when we walk through the facility. It is not uncommon to find some residents who don't seem happy, and many times it is not the facility, but instead it's their circumstances. If you give Park Manor and their fantastic nurses a chance, I am confident you will experience their kindness and compassion.”

People would think I was weird and told me I just had too many "quirks"... It caused a lot of issues for me. I went to Candice for an eval from the VA and she showed me a list that opened my eyes & mind... it was a list of PTSD symptoms; I wasn't alone. I felt a bit of relief, but mostly shocked because I honestly never knew there was a list of symptoms or that there were others like me. “I'm an active person with a regular exercise regimen. While trying to rehab a knee injury, I pulled something in my lower back and tried to ride it out. It didn't work. After going to my primary care physician and trying muscle relaxants, they sent me here, specifically. Not just to a physical therapist, but to Airrosti. In just a few sessions, I went from not being able to run without stabbing pain in my lower back to running, and jumping without pain. Dr. Norris is thoughtful, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. He's also super nice and a good person. He's very good at explaining what he is doing and why as well as providing great instruction for home exercises. He even has videos online. If you have a new injury that needs physical therapy or an old one that you think will never get better, I urge you to give him a try.”

I was not sure I would come back for a second visit when I got there because it is kind of no frills with paper gowns, table covers and facial protectors on the table. However, their approach is holistic and the attention to detail and information provided at the end of my visit was something I had never received before and I led me to be more interested in what goals they can help me achieve. There was no high pressure to come back or sell me anything additional but showed commitment towards my top concerns.
