“Very nice and quiet RV park! Spots: Concrete pads with full hookups. Plenty of space to grill and have canopies out. TV/Internet hookups but you must pay for your own internet or TV if you want them. Neighbors: Everyone was very quiet and polite. Very clean. Most of the renters are working on local projects. On site laundry: We didn’t use the laundry house, but it looks nice and clean. Pet friendly: Plenty of doggy bag signs for walking your pet. The owners are very polite and courteous! We will definitely be back if we’re in the area for work again! Location: 5 minutes from a HEB, Walmart, Lowe’s, and lots of fast food. Local restaurants deliver to the campground too! It’s right off the highway but the highway is never loud enough to be bothersome. Rent: Fair priced, monthly is rate+electric. Will be back if I ever work in the area again!”

“Great place to stop for the night. Hosts were amazing. They moved us to a bigger site to accommodate our rig and trailer and even came to check that we got set up all right. Quiet even though it is near highway. Good wifi and cell service. We did not use pool or nice laundry facilities. Will definitely stay here again. We stayed in a 45’rv with a trailer and truck.”

“This campground was absolutely beautiful! The staff in the office were very customer/guest friendly, efficient, and very helpful. The campsites were large, and we didn't feel cramped or crowded by the sites next to us. Very quiet, peaceful, and we felt safe. The entire campground was well maintained. We loved every minute of our week spent there. We highly recommend this campground and will be back next year.”

“Overall a great place to live! There are lots of kids here and neighbors get along from what I can see. The grass isn't mowed as often as it should be in the back of the complex. There doesn't seem to be enough parking for the people who live here. (Even though each house has a parking pad that fits 2 vehicles) management is amazing.”

“It is our first time staying at an RV park because we are new to the fifth wheel living, we are glad to have chosen this location because there have been 0 issues. The staff are all very friendly. One of the guys with the security hat was amazing at helping my husband backup his first time into a lot. Very patient with him and made it less stress. The RV park feels safe during the day and night. It is easy to pay your monthly bill at the front office. They are great at sorting everyone’s mail. The trash pickup service is great. They are amazing at keeping the grounds clean. The pool area is clean every time we’ve gone. The laundry rooms are cleaned, I do think some machines may need replacing soon. Everyone has been good at picking up after their pets when walking around. No noise complaints. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a spot.”

“Nice, clean, flat, fresh gravel sites, pull through with full-hookups. New power pedestals and sewer caps. Under new ownership as a few weeks ago and he was very nice, made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed one night for $40. Very quiet other than the train that went by a few times. It may not be a fancy RV resort, but what it is, it's a community of neighbors and a place to call home. Had to move back near family, otherwise I would have stayed.”

“Very lovely RV park! The cleanliness is to be truly admired and appreciated. Easy access to the main lane, heading towards many options for fishing, tanning, beaches to hang out on. Friendly staff and great labor of dedication to the cleanliness...very nice 👍🏼. Although there are various companies within earshot....it doesn't subtract from the Park. “Entrances need work. Theyre adding more spaces. The owner is super nice and helpful. Close to the highway so you'll hear that noise. Residents are quiet though. Has on-site laundry and soda machines and a coin change machine! Rv spaces are spacious, fit 2 trucks or maybe 3 cars. All spaces have picnic tables which is nice. All spaces are paved too and have 2 sewage connections. Electric connections are also super nice and organized and light up when on and turn off when there's an outage so that's helpful in a storm.”

“"DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER" My wife was skeptical about staying here but was swiftly opening up to the idea while checking in with the new GM Stephanie, (a U.S Army Veteran like myself )was very warm and welcoming . The room was clean, very comfortable, and Inviting. Stephanie was also extremely accommodating. She went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable , we got to hotel super early and we were allowed to check in early at 10am, she doesn't l know how much stress she relieved by doing that. I know from personal experience that no other accommodations in the area would do that ! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to stay in Mathis, or just stopping through! The also have a RV park located in the back !”

“Great RV park. It's really clean. Colleen and her husband are very kind and helpful. He went out of his way to help us with our leaking waterhose. We didn't end up staying a month, and they refunded us the days we didn't stay. They have restrooms and laundromat. It's located just outside of town, so it's really peaceful.”

“nice people running the park, plenty of room for my 43ft bumper pull & 2 full size Diesel trucks. the only down side was when there is a lot of rain the drainage ditches can overflow in to the park. The water never got above my bottom step, but it did take about a full day to run off. It's not there fault , it's the County/State problem with drainage ditches.”
